MajorCane.... check out the rosters for both teams. when you say Florida was more experienced, you sound like another lying politician. the depth charts show that Florida is actually youngr than Miami.

And there is a reason why nobody wanted the Miami Job.... it's a private school with no public or alumni funding and they have absolutely nothing to show recruits in this day and age. It's going to take alot more than just shouting to all the naysayers "Shannon is a U guy who belongs here" to bring that program back to where it was...

Looks like Billy is bringing in kids that will push the current team. I think the Gators can make some noise next year, especially if Speights returns. With the great class coming in and these transfers, and with Tennessee losing a bunch of players, they might be able to take the SEC next year.

Gators just signed the 2 top safety prospects last year (Will Hill will see considerable playing time for the next 3 years at the very least) and have more already on the roster that are young and talented (Major Wright, Dorian Munroe)...

i love how people say tebow is an average thrower. didn't anybody else watch him this year? did you people see that TD he threw against FLorida state in the first quarter? that 40 yd bomb was right in stride in the back corner of the endzone!!!

he has almost every record in high school in the state of florida for passing (well, he DID, until his backup at florida, John Brantley, broke them all). The guy can throw the rock. and he is just a soph!!!!

absolutely he was taking a shot. were you listening to the same interview as the rest of the nation? even the folks at ESPN were shocked on how un professional the jabs were. as a head coach, you need to show how to act for your kids, and by attacking a student that has never done anything to him, i question June Jones' ethics. I think it boils down to him wanting to say that he coached a heisman QB at Hawaii...
