this guy was lights out....big game pitcher. ideally the phillies make a lot of sense but if lee is wanting to test the market and get the most he can get then philly might be able to pick up some very good prospects in a trade scenario before the conclusion of his contract. i just find that a little funny since philly is built to win now with the addition of some starting pitching

100% agree. its truly ridiculous. as a poster mentioned "it should at least be commensurate with the revenue their PPV and branding brings in". currently the ufc has a firm grip of the mma world as it tries to cement itself in the sporting world but continued unfair compensation will allow the mma landscape to change.

IF the guy is sick he's sick I can accept that but normally when you are sick and it requires you to be miss work I would expect as his employer that you are doing everything you possible can to return to work and not out and about at events that give the perception of being ok. at the very least as his employer it would raise an eyebrow. and i'm sure it has with dana but i'm fairly certain dana will allow as much leeway as possible to his cash-cow.

the nats have got some promising talent.....they can really only go up. I can't see them getting worse than they already are. DC is a good spot for any aspiring manager now that them seem to have true young talent. would love to see my boyhood idol Donnie 'Baseball' come to the area but as someone mentioned he seems to be a lock for the LA job.

as mentioned i dont think this move should be a surprise to anyone and i think it shows how the nba has gone globally in every facet. I personally like the diversity in ownership and think it will only help to strenghen the league in the long run.
the notion that teams should be american owned and this and that is nonsense to me....why?? its a business just like any other business. we(americans) support foreign business every single day and on a much larger scale.
