I think the problem is the pitchers just know how to pitch to him now. He has a different stance that opens him open and I believe that hes not smart enough to make the adjustment to good pitching. Guys such as jim Thome and David Ortiz who do good things in this situation, they work agianst shifts and Jim has an open stance but still thru his career hit well (even tho I wish he was off my team right now). He's only been in the league since 02 and his first full season was 04. He batted well for 3 years then I think everyone caught on. I dont wanna blame HGH but thast another good point. He had more at bats last year by almost 100 and his homeruns were almost cut in half...just something to think about.

I think the pitchers finally know how to pitch to him. His batting stance opens him up to much and maybe hes not a smart of a hitter as somebody like Jim Thome or David Ortiz. These guys have shifts on them and they still hit. Not so much Thome anymore but over his career he stayed hitting the same way with the same stance and was still a good hitter. So im sorry to burst your bubble but he just can't hit good pitching.

What i dont understand is the cubs have been bad for so long but yet can't seem to get and young guys to go thru they're farm system that are any good. A good example would be the brew crew , arizona, and the tigers. Teams that have been bad for awhile and now have some young guys who have gotten better in the farm system. Go sox champs 05

Cards Win- How are the sox a "one-hit-wonder" team? Is it when you win 90+ games a season in a row you become a "one-hit-wonder" team or win a champoinship in the WORST DIVISION IN BASEBALL without winning 90 games at all? If the sox were in the NL central they'd be is second play too just like ur 06 champ Cards! I know the sox are doing real bad this year and i can admit that but they are not a one hit wonder team. Your a F*UC*ING MORON! I dont disagree that Ozizie isnt smart. Hes say alot of stupid stuff but he is not a bad coach. Even with a good coach the Cards still arnt doing well.

Are you kidding me?!? AJ Helped the sox win in 05 in a big way callin all the games behind the plate. And Aj got punched last year because Barrett is a****. He needs to learn to take a hit at the plate like a ball player not a bit*h and start swinging. World Champs 05!!
