Kobe is selfish for what. He does what the coach tells him to do. Phil has dictated what he does and look at the product. Unfortunately he does not have a supporting cast. Look at his shot attempts per year and compare them to other players and you will see the truth. If the Lakers would of won the last two rings, you and everybody else would have been in line to suck his )(*^) like Stephen A> Smith does for Shaq and Wade. If i were Kobe I would love to read this s&)*^& because it enforce what I already know "I must one of the greatest because they keep comparing me to the best". Once again we have people who don't pay atention. Lebron is not going to complain but he knows he needs help. Just like he is not as aggressive to take the last shot like Kobe, Melo and Wade. If Lebron (all by himself) would have beat the Spurs then he would have inherited the Jordan comparison even more than what they have been trying to do to him. Kobe has the right to voice his opinion and if you don't like so what. If you were him, would you remain quiet like KG and suffer or would you do like most men with balls and DO SOMETHING. The only thing he could do was go public because he knows just like us the Kupcake is not the man for job. The Surs organization instills those ethics in the players and it is not Duncan that is doing anything. He'll, did you even watch Tony Parker's interview??????????? Duncan did not do s()^(( for him. He gave the credit to the coach. What player on either team said that Duncan or Lebron has helped them get better or that they gave them props for being a leader? Get your facts right before you waste your time typying BS. Further more, as far as what Lebron said about it being everybody's fault he was right because they all lack the killer instinct. If Kobe had a dollar for each of his haters he wouldn't have to ask for a max contract. While I am on contracts - I hope that the teams explain to the players the impact of their contract on the team and i hope the players realize what they are doing before they sign those contracts because when it is all said and done it is all about the money to them. WHAT A DREAM!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, i think that if you don't responde to the mold (people on this site making immature coments) then it won't grow. If you read some of the comments then you see that the immature ones need attention and want to keep s*(& going so I am not going to respond. I hope that the mature people will do the same. What ever happens, I am going to root for the Lakers anyway. Hurricane is right. Kobe will always be compared to MJ and it will never stop. even if Kobe were to some how win 8 plus rings he will always be compared to greatness. When you think about it also has some good to compared to the BEST EVER. I know that the business side of the NBA can be crazy and Virtue GM schooled me on the contract situations. They just can't restructure their contracts like the NFL. They have to opt out then resign. The only thing I really want the Lakers to do is get a new GM. Good luck Lakers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted Saturday June 16, 2007, About: Kobe tells Lakers owner: Trade me
Mr. Buss just hit me with a email telling me to stop making these crazy trade scenarios because it just aint going to happen because there are too many holes. I then talked to the Nets and they want to get involved also. They are offering Kidd, Jefferson and a 1 round pick for Kobe. Toronto is offering Mo Pete for Sash, Cook and a 2 round pick. Kupcake agrees to send Bynum, Vlad, Kwame, 07 and 08 1 round picks for JO and Tinsley. Walton, Webber and Spreewell agree to contracts. The line up will be:

Kidd/Tinsley
Mo Pete/Evans
Jefferson/Walton
Odom/Turiaf
JO/Webber

SOUNDS OKAY AND IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME THEN WHY IN THE F%^&* WOULD YOU BELIEVE WHAT YOU HEARD ABOUT A PRIVATE CONVERSATION BETWEEN TO PROFESSIONALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know that we have our own opinions but can we at least be mature and talk fact or just keep your immature - - -es off the site. Kobe is the best player in the nba period - end of story - if he would have been winning rings the past two years then everybody on earth would have been sucking his - - - -. I love to win too but i am not going to embarrass myself like it seems but we all must realize that we are reacting off of REPORTS - i wish Kobe the best if he leaves but if he stays i hope that he can OPT OUT SO THAT HE AND THE LAKERS CAN COME UP WITH A NUMBER THAT WOULD ALLOW THEM TO SIGN MORE PLAYERS!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope other players like Kobe think about the team when they sign those blown up contracts - LOOK AT KG - he is in the same boat and he has to eaither opt out and resign or just hope the other superstars sign for cheap - picture that - i am in the Army and has my own store and the money is just great - i would love to make ONLY 10 MILLION SO THAT MY TEAM CAN EVENTUALLY BE RICH WITH WINS AND RINGS BUT 10 MILLION A YEAR IS NOT ENOUGH FOR A BASKETBALL PLAYER BECAUSE MONEY IS THE MOST MONEY IS THE FOCUS THEN THE RINGS - Look at the superstars that make the most money and are crying about gettin help for their teams and see if Kobe is by himself.

We do not need the size ( head in Laker uni. We can do bad without him but now we need to concentrate on the silver spoon dude Kobe. I am a die hard Laker fan first. I understand that Kobe is frustrated about the direction of the team because kupcake has ^*$*$$ it up with HIS selection of personnel. Kupcake is not the man for the job or any gm job in sports. Back to Kobe - I see that the Lakers are trying to make the moves and he still keeps saying trade me. We'll Mr. Buss trade the MF since he is so *(()%%(*) impatient. If the Lakers had not contacted Sac, Indi, Minn and Wash then I would understand the trade demand but to keep the s - - - up is not good. I AM NOW THE GM FOR THE LAKERS!!!!

First thing I am going to do is change everything.

Kobe wants to threaten the organization again and again - okay MF- He is now headed to the Knicks (he can veto any trade but would love to be on another stage in NY) for Arenas, Crawford, Haywood and a 1 round pick. NY would get Kobe, Mihm and TWO 2 round picks. Washington would get Bynum, Vlad, Frye and Farmar and a 1 round pick from LA. I would sign Lewis, Webber, Walton and trade Kwame the 1 round pick from NY Sac for Artest.

Arenas, Crawford, Lewis, Odom, Webber

Bench:

Artest, Walton, Haywood, Evans, Turiaf, Cook, Sash and vet point guard.

Now Kobe can stay and I will go after Arenas and Lewis because the triangle needs shooters and the Lakers don't have Fisher, Horry, or Fox anymore.

Denis - the spurs have quality on the bench - just because they are on the bench does not make them good - after two seasons you know how the next ones are going to be - please use logic - kupcake should go - look at my proposal of the three team trade - that is the only one that makes since - THINK TRIANGLE OFFENSE AND YOU ALL WILL REALIZE WOULD THEY NEED!!!!!!!!!!!!! - the bulls solid guys in the post not hall of famers - the 1, 2, and 3 positions made them champions. The same can be said for the Lakers last three rings. They had shooters and Shaq manned the lane by himself. NOW - Arenas, Lewis or Artest, Webber, Spreewell and JO is all they need.

Virtue GM;

I am talking about now not next season when I refered to you and others mentioning KG. I am completly aware of what he can do but he can't do it now. Look at my 3 team proposal. You know it would work. All three teams should consider it.

The Lakers need to make major moves. The best players that are out there are some what out of reach. Bird knows that the Lakers really want JO so he asked for more than he really needs. The Lakers need for more teams to get involved in this trade. Washington would send Haywood to Indi and Arenas to Lakers. Indi would send JO and Murf to the Lakers and Tinsley to Washington. The Lakers would send Odom and the pick to Indi and Bynum, the 2 round pick and Vlad to Washington. The Lakers can then trade 2008 1 round pick and Kwame for Artest. Lakers sign Webber and Spreewell. Then everybody is happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

Arenas, Kobe, Artest, JO and Webber

OK - The Lakers don't want them either. Every team is trying to dump players like these two. What other REALISTICS options do they have? Please think salaries first. I noticed that someone mentioned KG, LO, KOBE, ARTESTetc etc etc. What about their salaries? Don't respond to the Laker haters because their hate clouds logic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kobe just wants to win. When KG cried about his org not surrounding him, it did not get this much pub. If he would of kept quiet about his feeling then he would of probably been bashed for it. Surround this guy with better players and then you will see. Look at Wade with/without a very good supporting cast. Look at Lebron with what he has as role players. Kobe knows that the Lakers is his last stop. If he really wants to leave then they should trade him now and if not sit back and finish your contract. The world has heard his feelings and if the org does not do what they are suppose to then it is on them. If he opt out of his contract he will damage his fragile career again. Kobe will stay and they will get the players and then CHAMPIONSHIP in CA again.

Odom, Cook, Vlad, and 2 round pick for JO, Tinsley and Murphy. Kwame and Sash for Artest. Bynum and 1 round pick for Arenas. Sign Webber and Spreewell.

The triangle needs shooters and Kidd is not one.

Arenas, Kobe, Artest, JO, Webber

This is the best fit.
Posted Friday June 15, 2007, About: Lakers hold up O'Neal deal
The triangle offense does not need a true point guard. That is why the Lakers don't need Kidd. Arenas is needed and he is much cheaper. JO and Odom are the same as far as contribution to their perspective teams. When healthy they can be effective. The WORLD knows how good of a player Kwame is and Bynum played behind him for two years. You do the math. His potential will probably show up in 10 years. Remember EVERYBODY said the same about KWAME and look at him now. GOD did not say Bynum was going to be great. The Lakers (KUpcake) just made another blunder during personnel movement. Still both are too much for JO. Bynum, Farmar, Vlad, pick for Arenas and Haywood. Odom and Cook

Mano is just like Bill - very confused - in his own words, he (Steven A Smith, Lebron, Vince, Shaq before he got pissed, Wade, Kenny Smith, Greg Anthony, Barkley, Bird, Ainge, current players and former players to name a few) described why Kobe is the best player in the league. Before MJ started winning the rings he got the same treatment if you can remember. What player has won a championship by himself? ZERO - As I read these comments trying to degrade Kobe and other players - i get caught up in defended these guys because people (Bill, Mano and other idiots) give their personal opinions and not facts - i will try my best not to respond again to idiots again - please forgive me

It is very irratating to always hear the old guys talkiing trash about todays players. Walton would be destroyed by this generation of players. I am going to read his mind like he did with Kobe. --- Billy hates Kobe and almost any other guard - Billy needs the attention because he is always wondering what if his pegs (legs) would have kept him in the league more ten more years - he and is son combined could not carry a team like Kobe PERIOD - Luke is a good player and daddy should shut up and let it go - Even if Kobe was on another team I still would bash BILLY for his stupid remarks - i am not going to mention Billy again because this is what he wants ATTENTION!!!!!!!!!
Posted Thursday June 14, 2007, About: Waltons disagree over Kobe
Bill is just like any other idiot that tries to use his status to kill other players. Bill was not a great player PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!! He did not win those two rings by himself. Bill and Antonio and the rest of idiot village should really think first before they open the lid off the toilet. Kobe does not need attention and if i were in his shoes i would feel the same way. If you had the desire to win and had zero tolerance for second place then you might be aggressive toward progress for the organization. Kobe has earned the right to voice his opinion and frustration about the direction of the team. I am just like Kobe and Ricky Bobby when it comes to winning, "IF YOU AIN'T FIRST YOU ARE LAST"!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FATBOY 123 is an idiot. Kobe can not be mentioned in the same breathe as Stephon. One of the top 3 if not the best player in the league ALWAYS in the playoffs, get real guy. Please check your info correct before you start judging. Hopefully fb123 can grad from high school this year and then he talk and think like a real adult because he sounds like a kid. - The triangle does not need a true point guard so we don't need Kidd unless we change the system. JO is not worth Bird is asking. Please think (if possible before posting your weak thoughts) about your choice of words.

How about Bynum, Farmar, Smush (sign and trade), Vlad and the pick for Arenas and Haywood. Trade Kwame and the 2 round pick for Artest. Sign Webber and Spreewell. Arenas, Kobe, Odom, Webber, Haywood - bench Spree, Artest, Cook, Turiaf, Mihm, Sash, Evans - remember the Bulls never had a true point guard they were all good shooters (Arenas).
