Eventually, we hope, it is going to dawn on the stupid admins of NASCAR that the chase was the dumbest thing EVER invented.

I've said this before, if Jr. were leading in points at the breakaway and then a handful of drivers pulled even with him and ended up pushing him back to fourth at the end then you would need a very large contingent of body-guards for the top brass of NASCAR because there would be about 10,000 red-necks at the ready to do a dance on their face. As Martha always says "It would be a good thing".

It is not the norm to have an owner and a GM who are so completely driven and focused that nothing else matters to them except winning.

They spend what they have to to get the best players. That's why teams like the Cowboys and the NY Yankees always seem to rise to the top.

Like I say, if the Detroit Lions had Jerry Jones as an owner, they'd be headed in the right direction.

The one and only way the Lions will ever get turned around is for someone to take them away from Ford.

Actually, MacLachlin takes even more time over a shot than Woods (hard to believe, I know).

Remember the last hole of a tourney two years ago where he spent 20 minutes trying figure out if he should lay up on a par 5 or not? The crowd nearly booed his carcass off the course. I think he ended up shooting a triple bogey.

That should have been a learning experience for him right there.
