Danica Patrick
Damaris Lewis

Some previous posts had it right, if he stays at Benefica, he will continue to develop and impress and get in the starting lineup sooner rather than later. There is no shame in earning your place in the starting lineup at a top club and if he continues to work hard, he will earn it. He is clearly in a good environment right now so I don't see any major reason to loan or sell him to another team to develop when it seems he is on the cusp of starting anyhow. If they do send him off though, Monaco is probably another good fit and certainly better than the scottish league for him.
I live in baltimore now and its a great sports city and people here absolutely love the O's but attendance and support have been terrible the last few years. Fans are absolutely fed up with Angelos and have no faith in him as an owner being able to field a competitive team. Poor ownership trumps almost everything. And Al Davis and Georgia made an absolute mockery of those teams when they were in LA.
I will give you that LA is slightly harder because there are more options there so if you are terrible, they will occupy themselves with something else as opposed to buffalo or green bay, where, with all due respect, there is not nearly as much to keep you busy.
But I can pretty much guarantee you that the LA, OC and inland empire area that are all within 25 miles of the proposed stadium have more football fans (mostly because there are more people) than any other stadium in the country.
But really, all you guys have no idea what SoCal is like but you all talk like experts because you saw newspaper clippings from an owner angling to get a stadium deal....brilliant.
Perfect example is the Angels... back in those days, they rarely could be described as true contenders and the sentiment was they would always just be slightly above average. They also had a VERY poor fan base....and all the talk and excuses was "people in the OC don't support sports, blah, blah, blah". Well, once the ownership changed and they showed determination to compete year in/out, the fan base became incredible and tix have been hard to come by. This proposed NFL stadium btw, is about 10-15 miles from where the angels play.
Bottom line is, if they have an ownership that the fans believe in, the fan base will be there without a doubt. There are few places that bad owners and consistently bad teams will have a fan base that comes out no matter what.
As a side note, I'm seeing a very similar behavior here in Baltimore with Angelos and the Orioles. Make no effort to be competitive for a decade and people start to dislike you, plain and simple.
