You want to know what the reality is??? teams like the Marlins and Royals are the ones who are runing baseball!! With gready owners who are too concerned with pocketing every dime they can grub instead of turning the team into a global franchise and re-investing money back into the team, like the yankees have done blah blah you can cry about the size of the market all you want there's plenty of successfull teams in smaller markets Twins, Rays etc once you start wining a championship or two it's amazing how many badwagon fans start jumping on. It wasn't that long ago the redsox were right there with them in salary I don't remember thier fans crying about the ruining of baseball then....how many homegrown players does bosten have on thier roster lol 2-3 pretty much just like NY....you sox fans need to stop being such hippocrites

I'm by no means a RR fan but the players recruited were not compatable with the style of football he wanted to play. Why wouldn't they be passing a lot right now? The weapons they have in the recieving corps are far more dangerous than thier running game is at the moment. Not to mention that when you're constantly playing catchup you have to pass.
