They have a ton of 175lb speedy guys in Hartford. Ryan Bourque, Christian Thomas, Mats Zuccarello. The Rangers just have too many chefs and not enough servers.

Used or not, if you dont show a response to the NHL games it doesnt interest the NHL and the possible owners. Hartford lost a team 15 years ago. The Rangers are still trying to use the Hartford Whalers fan base for their purposes. It takes time. KC has other issues too like the Sports Biz Journal rankings which find them insufficient for local income to support a team. I would rather a team go to KC then more South or Quebec.

Sidney got knocked more East to West where Horton got an old fashioned North to South sit down. Easier for Horton to come back as his brain probably had a seat belt on too. Steve Carlson from the Hanson Brothers thinks the Horton hit was clean because Horton had his head down and was not paying attention.
