No worthy QB without him. We have a bunch of schmoes that could get this team to 9-7 or 10-6 but agreed, none of them would have us at 8-1 to this point.
Posted Wednesday November 18, 2009, About: Favre returning to Vikings next season?
I read this article this morning in my local rag (StPPP) and thought to myself, uh-oh, the T&R commentors are going to have a field day with this one!

Unlike most of the people in the world, Vikings fans actually do care whether or not he comes back and that is who the article was written for. T&R picking this up, that I don't understand. Wait, yes I do. It gets people to comment because they are sick of the story. Genius! More hits = more advertising revenue.

Go Vikes! Mission Miami.

Week 22. SKOL VIKINGS!
Posted Monday November 02, 2009, About: Packers question defensive scheme
It was discovered by Lambeau Field's grounds crew after the game (while replacing turf that Brett Favre tore up) that the 3 defensive backs were victims of a roadside bomb (IED) placed by Brett himself overnight Saturday night in the wee hours of the morning. He flat out BLEW THAT SHAT UP!

Rut Row! Gaborik with a lower body injury? You've got to be kidding me!

Wait.....oh that's right. Gaborik. LBI. Check. 10 games. Check. Surgery? Check.

Me bitter? Check.

This would definitely help with realignment. Move Phoenix/KC in with MN, Colorado, Edmonton and Calgary and move VAN into the Pacific.

That being said, they probably would look to completely realign the entire league and wouldn't just swap 2 teams.

Wait a darn minute. I just watched K&K Take Miami and she just turned down Mr Larry Johnson for a date. Does that mean that co-host of her's tried to set her up w/ LJ when she was already dating LO? No WAY!

These shows are live, aren't they? No?

Tyler Cuma, Cody McAlmond (insert any other prospect for McAlmond) and a future 2nd. Get it done and get to Minny!

Before anyone says that's not nearly enough, remember Boston doesn't have the cap space to sign him. It's just a starting point.

All of the sudden, players want to play in the hockey hotbed. Very refreshing. Thank you Fletch!

LOL. The heading on the front page of SI.com says "NFL" star narrowly avoids injury....nice.
Posted Wednesday August 26, 2009, About: Santana would have played hurt if...
Harris is a serviceable enough guy...plays a lot of 3rd base since Crede is hurt all the time. There was a BIG push from fans and media to make a move. O-Cab was a move they made to appease the masses. It has turned out pretty good.

I think generally people like Harris, but we always want better. We just don't usually get it!
Posted Wednesday August 26, 2009, About: Santana would have played hurt if...
Correction, Twins WOULD HAVE made a run, and probably won the Central with Santana. That is a given. However, one thing stood in our way. His name was Santana.

The team could not risk losing him for nothing and when everyone knew he wasn't going to re-sign, our only option was to trade him. That is unless you think that the two first rounders would have been better. I like Go-Go but he has a long way to go-go. Humber is shat and who knows about the A baller...whatev's we're used to it here in flyover land...
Posted Wednesday August 26, 2009, About: Santana would have played hurt if...
Hey! At least we got Carlos Gom...Philip Humb...Delois Guer.....wait, wait, really?

Oh well, the bastage wouldn't take $20m/yr to pitch for the team that made him, guess the Twins might be better off in the long run if this injury turns out to be more than just a scope of his witches elbow...and with pitching arms, it seems to always be worse than the original diagnosis....

Insurance maybe, in case Favre waffled?

By that time they'll have cut TJack and he will be starting on another team....

Bwahahhahahahahahahahaha!

Stupid Packer fan! Is that other team in the CFL?!?!? Don't hate.

Sell the Stars to Basille and let him move them to Hamilton. That gets them closer to their original home of Bloomington, MN anyway. They should have never left Minny!!
Posted Monday August 17, 2009, About: Wild, Lightning eyeing Tanguay
Saku already turned the Wild down. I don't think he's coming next year. What do you base this on? He doesn't think it would work playing with baby bro. That was evident this year. I don't get it.
Posted Monday August 17, 2009, About: Theodore still No. 1 in D.C.?
I still cannot believe they signed this guy to that contract! He's garbage. He was with Colorado and he still is with the Caps. The Caps are a goalie away from making it to the finals. What were they thinking???
Posted Monday August 17, 2009, About: Rangers-Dubinsky talks hit speed bump
Sean Avery on the first line with Gaby?? Might want to rethink that one. Gaby wants no part in the shanigans after the whistle. In other words, he's a softy Euro and from what I've seen, Avery loves to push buttons....Good Luck Gaby!
Posted Thursday July 23, 2009, About: Favre to decide by Friday?
The Vikings are only as good as what they did last year, not 10 years ago, not how many SB titles they have in the last 40 years. That means nothing to Vikings fans since we have ZERO.

They won the division last year (most recent history). That is what I was saying when you asked what the Vikings receivers did last year. It was sarcasm. See what I did there? You were asking how many yards/td's the receivers had and I answered a different question! Clever eh?

Oh, and I hate the Cowboys too....
Posted Wednesday July 22, 2009, About: Favre to decide by Friday?
I don't really know, I deal in the present, like THIS year.

I'd have to go back and check but I believe Longwell has a ring. Players change teams from year to year so keeping track of SB rings is not high on my list.

What is high on my list is winning this year, with or without Brett Favre. I think our chances are better with him.

I think a better question to 'get me' would be how many SB wins do the Vikings have? That would be zero. Hoping to change that year in and year out.

Don't be a hater.
