Please.
Id love to see him back (mmm, maybe) but I don't think the deal gets done.
Now get a goalie.
Now get a goalie.
Johanson... while I agree with you, people who capitalize the first letter of every word are psychotic. Stop it.
It is true, however, that in the days of LaLime, et al, their failures were directly responsible of the weak goaltending.
Maybe if he could find a way to squeeze out a single or 2 in October instead of some meaningless HRs in April he wouldn't feel so stressed.
Im not a huge JS fan, except that I love his economy of motion, in position/in control style in letting the puck hit him. He is such the 180 degree opposite of the **** wee goalie my Bruins have (Tim Thomas) who jumps around like a little kid in street hockey and makes every single save look hard, while impressing people who know nothing about goaltending with his spectacular saves.
I do think JS would be making an enormous mistake leaving a team with 2 Norris Trophy candidates in front of him, though.
Hull is interesting enough to have the experience and insight of an ex-pro/future HOF'er, but is an opinionated big mouth enough to keep everyone watching entertained. The only people who whine are the ones who are fans of whatever team he takes a shot at. Hey, try lightening up!
Great job, NHL, in keeping Hull front and center.
(and no, I am not a fan of any team he played for.)
