If they brought him in, it would have to be very carefully managed in order to avoid the pitfalls that most of the posters in this thread have alluded to but to say it makes "no sense AT ALL" or to suggest that Shane McMahon would simply turn the UFC into a circus is ludacrous and oversimplistic.
The "juice" IS the money that is guaranteed to the bookie.
There is too much money involved for this fight not to happen. It's just like the Manny-Oscar pre-fight squabbling.
The 'threatening to kill the deal' is common practice in any business contract of this size. It's designed to get even a few percentage points to swing one way or the other since even a couple of % is a ton of money.
The fight will happen. If Manny wants the BIG payday in the fall with Floyd, he has to show he can handle Hatton first.
Seriously though, forget Heatley. You aren't thinking big enough. Send them to Detroit for Zetterberg, Datsyuk, and Franzen and a number 1 pick.
