Oh how I miss Thomas Jones! What were they (Angelo, Smith, etc) thinking?!?!? This isn't 20-20 hindsight - it was obvious all along.

LaRussa is a lengend in his own mind, and in the mind of a few kiss-**** sports reporters. He's cetainly the most overrated manager in the last 30 years. When he left Chicago they threw a party, same in Oaktown. please Tony - retire and go save a cat somewhere.

Related to LaRussa's misplay last night - as much as I love Aaron Rowand, he is a serious choker when the spotlight is on him. Last night was the latest example, but in the '05 playoffs and Series, he was simply embarrassing. He looked so awkward and scared, he was an automatic out and couldn't do so much as bunt or run bases with any skill. Rowand could be a perennial all-star though, especially in Philly where making the playoffs is not likely to happen in his time.

I am a Bears fan and there is no doubt that their ownership is among the lousienst in the game. however this thing about the rings is so unimportant - why does this even get reported? If there's a few ingrates on the staf - run 'em off!

Now to really stir it up - Jerry Jones is the Great Satan of the NFL and the sooner he gets out of the game the better! Nothing personal. this guy has no concept of 'team' other than to make the most money off of his team. He'd rather oversee the demise of the NFL while stuffing his own pockets than support a healthy and competitive league. no long term vision at all! that's why America's Shame is only marginally competitive even with all the money money money JJ 'invests' in it. I'll bet he pays less in taxes than the average season ticket holder in that hallowed casket you Dallas fans call a stadium. the Cowboys make me sick as long as JJ is around.
