I love that some people are blaming Bush for Dykstra's woes. It's not true, of course, Lenny is a sad idiot all by himself, but Bush was an absolute joke of a President all the same. He'd be lucky to only get blamed for Dykstra, but then there's an unprovoked treasury bleed in Iraq, Katrina, Mission Accomplished. Yawn and yawn. It's really too easy. So, no, Dykstra not his fault, but let's not get too peevish about it, cuz a lot was.

Wow. Sounds like a lot of y'all didn't do too well in school. There's a lot of "I din't go to college it din't hurt me none" going here. All things considered-- everybody throws 50 yards, runs 4.45, can bench a bus-- hell yeah, then take the best test score. Why wouldn't you want a disciplined mind that applied itself to learning and operated logically? Those playbooks are thick and complicated. I'd want someone who had the tools and knew how to study, too.

Got to relax. You're right we should find the 9 billion in Iraq. We should also punish Roger Clemens. Here's the deal-- No lying to Congress. Clemens pushed for the hearing-- then lied-- sorry this isn't just a PR move for him-- jail. Meanwhile, on the other front, it would help if Bush and company didn't skirt the law and keep all sorts of guilty parties from answering congressional subpoenas. Congress isn't, obviously, full of honest Abes, but shoot, if people get a chance to tell the truth, they should, then everyone should applaud it. Liars should be tossed all the while and at every turn. We need to rebuild a culture of integrity. Everyday integrity, and especially in all things government.
