The Rangers had to do two things to win this series: Lundqvist had to be the best player on the ice, they had to stay out of the penalty box, and the defense needed to shut down Ovechkin. Okay, 3 things.

Well they stayed out of the box in game 7 and won.

A08 should stop acting like this is the Penguins of 2008 when Bettman had a baby monitor on the bench next to Crosby. The better team won.

Colorado looks to be the perfect trade partner that nobody is talking about. Need a consistent goaltender BADLY and is overloaded with centers.

Surprised Boston let MTL beat them to the Ryder trade. Maybe the Stars saw something in Eric Cole, but it's hard to believe Boston sweetening the pot with a prospect, pick, and gritty overrated forward (Nathan Horton?) wouldn't have done it.
