if kobe scores 25 or so a game and gets 40% of the lakers points as you say, that would mean the lakers average around 55-60 points per game...
i agree that kobe is top 5 and pierce isn't (on my list), he's one hell of a baller though. i'm a lakers fan and PP scared the **** out of me several times in the finals. other than the wheelchair fiasco, i have nothing against the dude.
(couldn't help myself) ...and mike schmreck, and mike penberthy, and mark madsen, and slava medvedenko, and tony smith, and sedale threatt, and travis knight, and jerome kersey, and ronny turiaf, devin ebanks... but not really sean rooks or dennis rodman. and most definitely not j.r. reid. not after that elbow to ac green's face.
just because i was in high school at the time and tried so hard to model my game after his: eddie jones.
there are plenty of "better" players, but i always loved how hard he played defense, those highlight dunks from van exel, and how smooth he was. a complete player who played hard and never whined.

regie miller was probably the most effective flopper. dude would hit the ground like a bag of rocks.
sam bowie
frank brickowski
j.r. reid
rick mahorn
mike penberthy
