There is NO WAY that Houston will sign with the Knicks this year. They already have 19 people at training camp and if Houston shows up after his wife gives birth that would be 20. This means Isaiah has to cut AT LEAST 5 people to get it down to the NBA 15 man roster. Balkman will likely start the season on the IR so that makes room for 1 extra person. The Knicks are guaranteed to keep Marbury, Collins, Crawford, Robinson, Nichols, Chandler, Balkman, Richardson, Jeffries, Lee, Randolph, Curry, Morris, and James. The reality is that leaves only one roster spot open for Rose, Jordan, Jones, Houston, and those other 2 clowns Isaiah just signed to show up to training camp which have absolutely NO CHANCE of making the team (one played on the Knicks summer league team) So barring any trades Isaiah has to do some serious cutting, trading, buyouts, or just plan old releasing people to get the rostor down. This is just a move to make training camp more competitive. I just cant wait to see Randolph and Curry play together. I hope it works out well. Could be the best frontcourt in the NBA if it does.
I agree with you 100%. Very intelligently spoken.
Just a few "facts" for you. Eddy Curry is MUCH BETTER than any year that he was in Chicago so for you to say that he is not playing any better than he was in Chcago is FALSE. In his career with "Chicago" Curry never played more than 30 mins per game, this past year 35 mins per game. In "Chicago" Curry never averaged more than 16.1 ppg, this year 19.5. In Chicago he never averaged more than 6.2 rebounds, this year 7.1, shot 57% from the field etc, etc... I could go on all day. The point is he is improving. The kid is 25 yrs old. Everyone cant do what Carmello, Lebron, and Wade are doing at 21 and 22 yrs old. Believe it or not some players need time to develop and Curry is doing that and I guarantee if "Chicago" had Currys inside scoring during the playoffs they would have done a lot better than they did.
