I personally think the wood bros. would be more apt to putting their own flesh and blood in their car, even if that doesn't ensure competitiveness. Jon wood has been racing in the minor league of nascar for years, and while he might not be the most talented driver on the circuit, family obligations may put him in the car.

Nothing ever seems to work out for the Hoosier's football team. We upset Iowa, but loose to 1AA Southern Illinois. We get, no let me rephrase we finally get a five-star recruit who subsequently changes his mind as goes to Florida. Finally we get a coach with the fire and passion for Indiana football, plus a bit of knowledge and skill to boot, and he is potentially sidelined with a brain tumor. Yet another sad episode of IU's prolifically underachieving football program.

I find it abhorrent that contracts are about as meaningful as a blank sheet of paper these days. Coaches can back in and out of contracts seemingly with no penalty. While their may be legal ramifications, they rarely make the headlines anyway. All that does make them is yet another coach changing his mind; not the example Billy needs to be setting for his florida players, by the way. But if a 5 year contract can be canceled before a game has been played, what's the point of the contract? The whole thing is disgusting and tarnishes the efforts of those who do respect the sanctity of a signature.

And for those of you suggesting that he goes to the Texans, that seems very doubtful as he'd likely ask for 'starter' money; the same money the Texans dished out to Matt Schaub. (Thats about 6 years, $48 million worth by the way) Therefore, I can't see how the Texan's can even be in the mix.
