That's what tendonitis is, when you overwork a certain part of your body.
He is entitled to defense but he was using offense as his defense. Even further 156lb guys should not be throwing at the heads of batters. Then he could have avoided the whole 72 year old threat.

who the hell cares hiow much he weighs when he throws at batters? If he can (could) throw 97, he knows what he has in his arsenal, and he obviously isn't worried about repercussions. There sin't a weight restriction on pitchers who want to throw inside

You realize he's only pitched about 40 or so innings, I don't think he's proven that he can keep it up. I also think that the Yanks shouldd give up on him as a starter (lot more stress on that amazing arm) and groom him to be Rivera's heir to the closing throne.
