Ok, so corners can't bring it to the cage. But I do remember seeing the cut-men wiping it on fighters every single fight I've watched. So... ya... I stick to the word rampant.

Sonnen cheated the first fight and lost. So the cheating cancels out, and Sonnen still lost twice. You don't know Silva's intention when he threw that knee, assumption's accomplish nothing. Vaseline is rampant in MMA. In every fight there is an instance of grabbing shorts, holding the fence, etc...

Very true Loki, very true.

Don't come in here and act like you know me. Because, clearly, you do not. I do know someone who has been affected by rape, but you know what the difference is between me, and all the pansy people that get worked up over something like this? I don't let someone who I don't know, will never know, and who will never affect me personally, offend me. Clearly, they can say whatever they want, clearly I can say whatever I want, and clearly you can say whatever you want. Just don't come in here and assume things. Comment on what Clouis posted. Don't come in here and troll.
And some advice, only use the word "clearly" when you know for a FACT what is said after is true.

I'm outraged. But I'm outraged by any organization that takes offense by what individuals say and puts it on the company or organization said person works for. People are too d@mmed touchy-feely in this country and it's annoying. All of Bud's commercials are sexist or homophobic. I don't see guys checking out other guys in the commercials. All the women are smoking fine. So it's ridiculous that Bud Light issue this warning to the UFC. How about they clean themselves up first. And to the "Watch Dog" group; go away. Just causing drama for the mama. Worthless.

Lol! Oh I will :-)
Posted Friday March 30, 2012, About: Cheating
I'm more tired, and sure, I have a bit more chunk. But the chunk is more likely from being married to a wonderful woman who knows how to feed me, and more tired because of kids. Does this mean I need TRT? No. Do these guys need TRT? No. This is what's supposed to happen. It's the nature of sports. The older guys can't keep up with the younger ones, get beat, go down as legends or whatever and the new breed steps up. Just my opinion though.
Posted Friday March 30, 2012, About: Cheating
This is really the argument here. What is a normal life mean? I'm 31 almost 32, my testosterone levels have been dropping since I was 23. But I'm living a normal life. I don't have any side effects from not having insane test. levels like I did at 18-21. It's part of a normal life to have test. levels fall. That's where experience comes in.
Posted Friday March 30, 2012, About: Cheating
I'm saying TRT is cheating only because it raises Testosterone levels higher than would be natural. Higher Testosterone levels raises aggression, cardio, and a myriad of other benefits. I agree with the idea someone said on here that anything that doesn't come naturally from the body, should be deemed cheating.
Have random tests throughout the year, and a test the day of the fight. The randoms should curtail the cycling, the test before to make sure.

But Loki does have a point. The size and strength of Overeem does make him quite a bit more of a handful for someone not his size, think of a O-lineman vs. a Cornerback. Blocking a corner would take significant less than blocking say Justin Tuck. If Overeem is bigger and stronger (which he was vs. Kanehara) then he expands less kicking in someones teeth. Carwin having to deal with Lesnar was a much bigger task. If Overeem had fought Lesnar before the diverticulitis, that would've been a much different fight.

I still see Overeem winning this fight. JDS is a bad mofo but he hasn't had to stand in with a striker of Overeem's caliber. If JDS thinks he can stand in front of Overeem and plod forward like he has vs. other competition, it'll be the end of JDS. I see JDS winning this ONLY if he takes it to the ground.
Posted Wednesday March 28, 2012, About: It's Official!! Rematch between Silva and Sonnen
Alive and kicking brother! The ribs thing I agree with Jim, a little overblown, who knows how bad that was. But the roid thing isn't. Sonnen was on them, medically or otherwise, yet still couldn't beat the Spider. So what's going to happen if he isn't? I bet Brazil tests him as much as they can to make sure he's clean. I also read somewhere (forget where) that Silva wanted to beat him with BJJ to prove a point. So if he goes in to this fight as the Spider, a four-limbed beast, I don't see Sonnen getting out of the 3rd round.
Posted Thursday January 06, 2011, About: Couture vs. Machida at UFC 129
I think it benefits Machida because of Randy's aggressive, pressing style. I thought that was what Machida wasn't prepared for (in either fight) versus Shogun. Shogun just went right at him and kept pressing the fight, Machida couldn't counter because Shogun didn't let up, just kept coming, just like what Randy does. In fighting Randy, Machida gets to fight someone uber-aggressive.

Yes, his record is impressive, but the guys you mentioned aren't people I'd run home and tell mom about. A bunch of gatekeepers in my opinion...
But his record is something else...

Finally, someone who agrees with me! Thanks Dallas, I felt alone on this issue!!
Posted Friday October 08, 2010, About: Supplements
And of course Hyped, there would be a lot of issues at first, but like in Spain (this is what I've heard, so don't lambast me) a person can drink at 15 or 16. Is there any more problems over there then there is over here where a person has to be 21? Like I said, at first there would be problems, but after a few years, it would calm down...
Posted Friday October 08, 2010, About: Supplements
Yes, I do believe that. At first there would be A LOT of problems like overdoses, but I call that natural selection. Just because it's legal doesn't mean we should do it. Alcohol is legal, but I don't drink it. If those drugs were legalized, then there goes the black market (in theory). I believe the government should manufacture such things, have the same rules as alcohol (no one under 21, no working on substances) and use the money to pay off the national debt. I read somewhere that if the US government were to legalize pot, control it and tax it, it would erase our debt in some ludicrous amount like 5 years. Of course all this would cause more corruption at the top, but there's that anyway so who cares.
Radical I know, and a lot of things that would need to be worked out, but it would solve as many problems as it being illegal creates.

And I realize that Andro is a type of steroid, I've never tried the roids that the Pro's are using now, is what I was trying to say.
Posted Friday October 08, 2010, About: Supplements
I'm in the minority in my beliefs on PED's, at least to those I've talked to about it, but I believe the record books should be closed off, and a new book opened with the title "Modern" or something attached to it, then let Professional athletes take whatever they feel necessary. They're adults. There's no way to stop them because the new designer PED's is always coming out. And any Professional sport. Of course there's the issue of PED's being classified as Class 3 narcotics, but that isn't the issue, the issue is there's no way in stopping it, so just let 'em! Let's be honest, most Pro's are on something anyway, we just hear about the ones getting caught. Baseball is a good example of that.

I've never taken the big one's, roids and HGH, but when it was available I tried Andro (worked like a champion), Creatine (recommend it to anyone, as long as water intake is up to par), and then Glutamine, BCAA's, and some other Amino Acids along with a gamut of vitamins. Made me strong and huge (I was powerlifting at the time). The key to all this is water intake, at least, AT LEAST, a gallon of water per day.

That's my two cents.
