Def have some nice depth so long as they stay healthy. Now Bradley can plug other players in based on who we're matching up against as opposed to having a set 4. Have the option to match strength v strength, speed v speed, etc a bit more. Fingers crossed everyone gets pt and stay/get healthy for 2010.

Agreed, tough though when they all jump ship and play for their other countries... ie, you all know who.

Only a matter of time before this happens with players of latino decent. We've already got Africa and Europe covered. Where all our asians and south/central american's at?!? Sam's calling.

Birds will definately be cutting 1 or 2 receivers that could be 3rd or 4th receievers for several other teams. Doubt a trade will come through.

I just hate seeing Gomes back there. I honestly feel he's a bottom three keeper in the Premiership. What happened with the David James rumors? Gomes and Cuducini are quality 2nd and 3rd string keepers respectively. Maybe with Cuducini as another 2nd. But starters for a club that should challenge for European competition this year? (find myself saying that every year)... just see that as a mistake.

As you said, RvN is not needed... What's needed is for ol' turncoat Arry to keep our Spurs from imploding.

No arguing that. Just feel they should bring in a quality keeper first and maybe look to another center back what with the knee issue and all. They have money to burn, just feel ruud isn't going to get them over.

Couldn't agree more. I seriously believe that all of Central America is lacking in class when it comes to soccer matches. They all hurl bottles and other **** onto the field during play. Almost as bad as those Cubbie "fans".

At the US v Honduras game in DC a month or so back, the Honduran fans were complete ****. Will never bring my kids (when I have them) to matches against Mex or C. American teams.

As for the officiating... It was poor at times. Definately some missed calls and poor decisions not to award cards when deserved. But the US simply didn't play as well as El Tri, and got the desereved result. The US central mid was trash and so were all of our connecting balls. Serious disconnect between the backline and midfield and midfield and forwards. Bradley and Clark were constantly out of position, IMO.

Spurs top 6!!!! If they qualified for Europe at seasons end, I'd be both shocked and thrilled. Spurs have talent, no one can question that. Just always something missing... Specifically, results. As for Everton, their depth may become an issue. Moyes has his work cut out for him if he hopes to continue his great success.

Why? Aside from his goofy looks I think he's been solid back there. He's the best option for DC right now and he's far from the worst keeper in the league in my humble but always correct opinion.

Was at the game is DC Wednesday night. So many fans from Mex and Central America have no class. Lots of bottles thrown. Should have picked up a few of those midget Hondurans and thrown them around.

If United are forced out of DC (b/c that's essentially what's happening) I'm not sure what I'd do. Unfortunately, I'd most likely go to less games if the stadium is by Dulles or PG County. Anyone else vote on the site as to which locations you'd prefer if they have to move? And how about the Red Line accident?! That's such a **** situation. Must have been scary as hell.

Doesn't help that our country is freaking huge and spread out. Plus I love how they academy just lets you mail them a video of your skills or lack there of. You can't contact them to see if they got the tape, see if anyone likes the tape or find out if there even is an academy.

So much young talent has to be slipping through cracks w/o being noticed.

Like was said before, rich kids from suburbia aren't the only ones who can play. Nor are they the only ones who should get scouted.

FN and T & R is loving all the posts about the USMNT. They're taking our griping and throwing more posts on about it.

I say start the young bucks, watch us lose b/c neither can play D and watch the complaining continue. But seriously I'm praying for a win. Please please please get at least a point. Going 0 for will leave me devastated.

I'm so pissed. I'm going to both USMNT games in DC this summer. Was so excited going into this tourney, now so dejected and barely looking forward to them. Arrrgh.
