He's actually having a decent year. His inflated ERA is due to some really really bad outings at the beginning of the season. He's been money latey, winning 5 straight stars and allowing only 11ER total in those games.

Everyone points to that d@mn Washington trade when speaking of Krivsky. The Reds were desperate for bullpen arms. I think Bray will eventually turn out to be a good pitcher, Krivsky signed Alex Gonzalez a year later to replace Lopez, and the Reds had a glut of OF's & no one misses Kearns. Also, everone forgets that he brought in Bronson Arroyo & Brandon Phillips for next to nothing.

Brandon Phillips batting leadoff with Josh hamilton playing CF would have been nice, but the Reds had to deal Hamilton for a guy who will probably never be more than a #4-5 starter in a rotation, and likely won't even be a Red on opening day. Now they "need" a CF. WTF

Excellent point, studzilla. I know the hype surrounding Bruce, Bailey, ect. but Votto is going to be a viable weapon someday too. I just hope the Reds get the pitching situation straightened out because I desperately want to see them make the playoffs.

It would be great if they could convince the A's to take maybe Votto and a lesser prospect (Volquez, Dickerson?) From what I hear, Bailey, Bruce and Cueto are all going to be something very special, if not as soon as this year.

How could they have not made this deal yet? Harang, Bedard, Arroyo stacks up against anyone in the division with Cordero and a full season of Jared Burton in the bullpen, and still with Griff, Dunn, Hamilton, Hopper, and Freel in the OF and Stubbs in the system, this could be the year the Reds actually make the playoffs. Make the deal and sign Jon Lieber to fill out the rotation.
