There have been plenty of prominant members of the ku klux klan, including a grand wizard that have served in the United States government in elected positions. A simple google search will confirm that statement. No google search however, confirms anything Shaf has said.

the truth of the matter is that Rush will say whatever is on his mind and while that's great for shock jock radio, it's not good for a real job, especially a management position. Everyone remembers how quickly he got the hook for his comments on donavan mcnabb. And yes, he did state his comments on slavery. it's public knowledge (source: again, a google search brings up a wall of proof) and recently a "top 10" list of racist comments attributed to rush appeared in my local newspaper.

Any fool calling liberals out for trashing an idiot deserves to be blocked from life. I just wish ignorance was painful. Shaf would have a constant headache

I see your point. However unlike Stallworth, who played ball, Plax tried to hide it, lied to the authorities, and pleaded "not guilty".

If he would of admitted he messed up and checked into rehab, he probably would of gotten probation and a 6 game suspension.

Regardless of how harsh the penalty is, plaxico has been a d*** and a jerk for his entire existence in the public eye. He is getting karma returned.

also, think of the crime. The gun he used he had to have his finger on the trigger and had to squeeze it to cause the gun to discharge. What the heck was he thinking? and right inside a public space? He's an idiot. Shooting himself that evening saved someone else's life. Think about it for a second. He lived a pampered spoiled idiots life and lost it all because he isn't mature enough to act responsibly in public.

It's a rookie mistake? Load of crap. following rules is common sense. Then again, if they were to bust every player in the NBA for doing drugs, half the league would be missing. A real commissioner would impose tougher restrictions on these children and try to restore the amazing godlike image that the NBA once had.

The current "WW-NBA" has turned into an unwatchable joke.

And to the guy who said there were " no drugs in the room " read a freaking article, the toilet was flushing and the room was filled with readily recognizable smoke"

field turf is horrible on your ankles and knees. it takes years off your productivity. After 4 years playing for a university that had artificial turf (thanks nike) it's apparent the damage caused.

Yes he is renting the house, but it is too his family. You can't tell me he doesn't have a shred of interest in what goes on there.

They found obvious impliments for dog fighting as the story goes. regardless of the condition of the dogs, fighting them is still a crime. Vick may not be in charge of this ring, but you can bet dollars that he knew about it. he's not currently guilty of anything, but this sure doesn't help his rap.

Look for Joey harrington to be starting a few games for the falcons this year.
