I think Tony's comments were meant more like just deal with it and move on. I think Gordon's response is right, just laugh and make fun of everyone. I think that Roush has to take responsibility for his own part. His team lost it. He needs to figure out a way to deal with it and move on.

I think that Kyle is putting the team above his own ego and good for him. I think that it is a good choice. One other thing, who cares that he used a swear word once, who amounst us hasn't accidentally said a bad word.

DJ was a "rock star" in the UPS ads. The whole "race the big brown truck" was great. But with a new driver, they need to come up with a new pitch. I think that UPS is shopping around for an organization that can win. Because unless your up front your not on camera.

Roush has a responsiblity to track it's own parts. They need to take responsiblity for their part in this. If it happened during post race inspection and if this a common problem with that process, then NASCAR needs to do a better job to ensure that the right parts get back to the right owner. Either that or car owners need to be able to observe the process to ensure that their team parts are returned.

Truex knows that he is in control of his futrue not DEI. He has all the leverage because DEI needs him more than he needs them. It is probably smart to wait and see how the year goes before deciding his fate.

First, merchandising has nothing to do with his 2 Busch Championship trophies and his Daytona 500 trophy not being displayed. They removed all evidence that Dale Jr ever drove for them. I think that he has a right to be upset about that. Second, wining Busch titles and the Daytona 500 are accomplishments in NASCAR.

I think that the number should go with Jr. The design of the car and the number will be changed. Jr has said that he is excited about that becasue he will be able to give input into the final look of his car. So the merchandise will change.

My understanding of the deal proposed that would have given Dale Jr 51% of DEI would have still kept Teresa in complete control of DEI. So Jr would have owned a majority stock in the company, but how the deal was structured he would have had little to no say in how the company was run.

That is where the problem comes in. They both want control of the company and don't want to have to work with or make compromises in who is in contorl ofthe company. Teresa wants to keep control, Jr wants more say in the company.

I think that Ginn is the best place for Jr. Mark Martin was points leader until didn't drive for a few races. He is currently 14th in points after missing 3 races. So you can see that the cars are contenders. Also, it will put Jr as the #1 driver so the garage focus will be on his car and what he needs. Bobby Ginn is willing to spend whatever it takes to win, which is also what Jr needs.

As for Gibb's if he does not support alcohol advertisement then he needs to remove the decal from his cars. I realize that is would be hard to give up the chance to race in the Budwiser Shootout, but if your going to protray yourself as a moral authority in advertising you need to back it up all the way.

Lets face it at the time Dale Sr signed his will the "kids" were just that kids. He believed that there would be plenty of time to update it, he never thought he would die so young. That is not uncommon. I understand why Teresa doesn't want to give DEI up, this is the last, best thing that she and Dale Sr worked on. If I were her I would want to hold onto it at well.

Having said that I don't think that it is right. She knows what Dale Sr wanted and should have begun making arrangments to full fill those wishes. Giving Dale Jr more say in how the racing side of DEI is run, and more responsibility. Looking at him as more that just the Step-son that you didn't always get a long with.

I also think that giving Dale Jr 51% of DEI would not have been right. The company should be divided evenly amounst Dale Sr's 4 children, with Dale Jr at the head.
