Was there - up close; thought this was a 3-2 fight for Rua. At least the score wasn't 50-45 for Machida. That would have been ridiculous. At least the fight was worth the hype and efforts on both teams; re-match should be solid. They both have excellent chins. Machida's legs were heavily bruised 1.5 rounds into this contest. One of the best fights in UFC history regardless of the scoring.

Evans is a sweet champ - and Griff was too, in defeat; all class. Side note: Evans went to MSU and Griff went to UGA - and they both meet in the Capital One Bown on 1 JAN 09 - could it be another upset?

Lesnar is proof that this is a business - the man will drive sales, like it or not. If Lashley performs as well as he looks (he was also an NCAA All American), D.White will be digging the hype on that matchup ... if of course, Lesnar wins his rematch with Mir... and he will.

...and it will be a great fight - Lesnar-Couture. ON paper. This one gets boring quickly, but like any underdog (Couture) people will hope for an upset --- but it shouldn't happen.

Silva and Couture - not even a close comparison if arguing weight/size ... Silva may be 40lbs heavier, but the man is sloppy and has almost NO legs. Trust me, like a hot knife through butter, Lesnar will buzzsaw Couture; unless he plays Marco Polo with his eyes closed and let's Extreme Couture have a free roundhouse punch... even then?
