Other than Melo, who is Billups gonna dish to?? This is a Nugs team that is totally devoid of talent. Nene can't stay off the IR. And when the highlight of your season so far is bringing "Birdman" back to the fold, you have cashed it in. And NOW there's a good chance Kleisza is gone after this year, as well. Suck it up, Nuggets fans. It's gonna be a LONG couple of years, minimum.

The problem I have with Namath's comments is this: Statistically, he was only slightly better than average, and he happened to catch lightning in a bottle for one season and led a team to a title. Championship-wise, he was a one-hit wonder. He never really had the continued team success like other QB's like Unitas, Starr, Montana, etc. I'd take his opinions a little more to heart if he'd had more than one ring and just a couple of division titles.

Agreed, Nathan. Vegas is the type of city where more than half the building will be the OTHER team's fans. That's no way to build a successful franchise. I still say, put a team back in Winnipeg or Quebec.

IHMO, if you want a team in Vegas or KC, don't expand. Move one. Hello, Nashville? Atlanta? And yes, a team could play in the MGM Grand until a larger arena (already in planning stages" is built. The Avs and Kings play an exhibition game there every year. But ideally, the league's first choice should be to put a team in either Winnipeg or Quebec.

Back on the point of sports.... seems to me that if he is "healthy" enough to be partying in Vegas, he's healthy enough to be on the sidelines with his TEAMMATES. Or could it be the team just flat didn't want him there.... just sayin'....
