It is not unreasonable for a fan of -les "Canadiens"- to expect from the team captain that he is able to say a few words in French, since it is after all, the language spoken by most of their fans and by most people in Quebec.
Actually I want the captain to be able to express himself in both French and English, so that each fan can understand what he has to say...
It simply has to do with respect.

I agree...
On the ice or in life, without a certain level of reciprocity, there are no fights just assaults. Assault often leads to legal action. With the general attitude displayed by Patrick and Jonhatan Roy in this whole situation (before and after), I would not at all be surprised if it did.
At this point the Roy's level of sympathy is below zero, and I think Patrick's coaching career is coming to an end. When it does I am sure he will blame everybody else and take zero responsibility.
Big improvement right there, and hopefully some guy will step up and earn it in training camp...
I have a feeling the Dolphins will run it very, very often, heavy doses of Ricky and Ronnie... Which should give John Beck the time to show his stuff ( hard to do when you keep getting hit or rushed by the defense...). John Beck should show the Dolphins this next season if he is the real thing or not... His job to lose I think...
Anyway at this stage the Dolphins need to show improvement, be consistent, and by being competitive and fighting on every down they 'll get the respect they deserve from their fans, opponents, and VP of football operations...
Not like they are contenders right?
Happy easter to you all,
Try putting in more argumentation and less make up...
As Jason reunites with Zack in Dallas, Miami gets either their first and second picks in the upcoming draft... Miami could probably even work out a trade for the Cowboys 2nd, 3rd and 4th round picks for Jason Taylor...
Good deal for both teams, as he is a proven player who wants the chance to play for a contender, and can certainly improve the Dallas defense over the next two seasons... if not three.
While Miami gets young talent and keeps filling out holes, building a competitive team in the process...
In an ideal world "Old #54 and Old #99"will contribute to a Dallas Super bowl win and retire with their rings...

Can anyone explain to me how this got through moderators and filters?
How this crap makes it through is beyond me, the mere fact that this post has made it twelve hours ago, and remains on this page leaves me speechless...
This has nothing to do with the Mangini character, since when is it OK to write that a person should be "taken out back and shot in the head"?
I find it way out of line.
Speaking as a Dolphins fan, who still misses the old number 13, I am happy he played for Green-Bay is whole career and I feel for all those Packer fans who are now witnessing the end of a great chapter in their history...
It will be strange not seeing him on the field,
how the tables turn...

I agree... preferably to Dallas... First and second rounders would make for a great trade while completing the transition that started with cutting his brother in law Zack Thomas.
From then on you can make history... "les Canadiens sont la !!!"
I doubt they select Jake Long, but that would be my first pick.
Zack and Jason are brothers in law. Maybe they could reunite in Dallas, so after he is done dancing with the stars Jason could end up with blue ones on his helmet.
In return Miami gets Dallas' first and second round picks ; then I say bye, bye Jason, thanks for the memories and best of luck to you...
I mean we got a good center in return of Welker, even got a second rounder for Chris Chambers (pleeeaaaase select WR Devin Thomas from MSU if he still is there when our turn comes) but we got nothing for Sage, worst of all instead of having him to back up Green we had Lemon.
He has proved it in the past, proved it in Houston, he would have won a few of those contests for us has he been our QB...
Man, I'd even welcome him back.
Good, dedicated, experienced player who has a ring and who could provide great tutoring and inspiration for young receivers such as Ginn JR and Hagan...
That would be real nice, real, real nice!!!
" Sorry, I meant behind his belt, then again..."
You have to choose wisely.
It might not be a sexy pick but selecting Jake Long would already improve the O-line immensely.
- Put Jake Long at LT,
- Put Vernon Carey, where he belongs, at RT,
- Samson Satele will do even better at center with one season behind his bell...
Just by picking him and returning Carey to his position your line improved... now you need guards.
It would be nice seeing Ronnie or Ricky run in holes opened by Long and Faneca...
