This really should about who else Lemaire's exit will sway. A new coach/system could hopefully attract free agents who at first held reservations for playing a defensive game.

Risebrough should be next.

I may be one of the few people in minnesota that has faith in harding. I do believe that any goalie in Lemaire's defensive system will be good. I am all about trading Backs. Everyone was hoping to get someone who can score in exchange for Marian "Glass Groin" Gaborik, but that was an epic fail. No hard feelings, but we need scoring.

How do you feel in Philly about Niittymaki? I would love to see Carter in a christmas tree uniform... AND Nodl!

Ottawa needs a goalie... want to give up Heatly or Spezza?

Unfotunately I see the wild following the example of the twins. There must be something in the water. We have good players, but we just cant hold on to `em. Are we forever doomed to be mediocre? Probably, but whats the point of being a sports fan in minnesota if your team wins a championship every other year like detroit or new york?

I say let him go to the eastern conference and get a defenceman to replace skoula.

if you couldnt get your game up against the packers in week one, when can you? TJack has one more week to prove he is worth keeping. If he flounders once again in week three, i fully expect him to be done. I hate to think that gus would be our starter, but he might give us a better shot at beating some team.

i would say have renney stop worrying about crosby and his debatable theatrics and coaching his guys! they might get something past fleury! how about also not putting yourself in a situation where a ref's call could decide a game? whining doesnt win games... hard work and good coaching usually pays off... then again it could be the cold air screwing with me up here

i went to game four of the avs wild series... and although i have never liked forsberg or sakic, i respect them. they are the kind of players you can tell your kids you saw play.

was it a good idea to come back for the final push? probably not. i do not believe that retiring because of an injury is how any athlete wants to go out. if this is how it ends for forsberg, i applaud him for his effort and contribution to the game of hockey.

jose played incredible, there is no denying that... and i have accepted the fact the wild are done in the playoffs. no crying.. no wrist cutting... but i have to say i am proud of how lemaire has handled the team from the start... but it is time to find someone else who will let gaborik be the stud he is.... oh and you forgot to add "beat my wife/sister" into your list of things to do above...

denver has to pray for calgary... im sorry but the avs do not stand a chance against a team that doesnt have issues scoring. gabby did not produce, but then again hes called a vagine in our house for a reason... keep demitra, let rolston go and try and find a centerman who can produce. its time to go young anyway,

and broadhead... what is your definition of a 'real hockey' town? i can see if you only tie championships to it... but it leaves out franchises that have only existed for 8/9 years and havent had the better part of a century to collect cups? we have no problem selling out games in minnesota...
unlike other 'hockey towns' our kids grow up playing hockey and that is celebrated by the best high school hockey state tournament in the 50 states...

i guess i missed that hit. truth is, if it was that bad he would have been repremanded. they had a day to look at it and nothing came of it.

i am going to have to support ArisDragon's idea that minnesota should be annexed by canada. that would be sweet. we would have mounties!

for the most part ignore is attempt to marginalize minnesota... we have plenty to do!

but i have to ask, if we sucked so bad, how come we are seeded 3rd? or that divisional championship? if we apply logic we could conclude that if minnesota sucks, colorado sucks more. correct...?

can anyone really say that they dont like the physical play of hockey? dont like it? watch tennis or golf
