Did they already use a draft pick on Robin Lopez? Not to mention traded one of their reliable big man earlier this year in Diaw? Louis Amunduson though has been playing well so I don't get why now they decided they need another big man.

As far as the backup point guard, of course Kerr is going to say that Dragic has earned the minutes to be the backup because he acquired him. He doesn't want to admit that he made a mistake but with rumors that the Suns still need another point guard that looks like the case.

Again LaMarcus Aldredge was sitting there with the second pick John Paxson and you selected him...only to trade him for Thomas and now you have watch what most people knew about Thomas when he left college...he has absolutley no skills outside of blocking shots or converting ally-oop dunks, which was basically his all he did at LSU.

For Marion, hey you made you bed, you wanted out of a system where you were the third or even fourth option and still averaged around 17-20ppg, winning and was very valuable except in the media of course, and now come to a situation where Miami was obviously rebuilding but claimed you were happy, now the team is winning and you complain about your role in the offense.

I guess teams who do take him on don't want an disappearing act on his skills like a few years ago, but he is playing solid ball on what is now an rebuilding situation. Spencer Hawes is the future so I'm sure the Kings would like to trade him, and add Kenny Thomas to any deal involving him as well, hence their "showcase" of him the other night.

He is one of the best basketball minds in the NBA. Save a run to the Finals, the Cuban owned Mavs and Dirk have enjoyed their best success in the playoffs with him at the helm. I'm still a firm beliver in that you have to play some defense to have some success in the NBA and as mentioned above there is a reason why he hasn't been in the Finals.

What other point guard is out there for the Sixers to get unless they are just going to cut their losses and hope to "play well" in the second half to get into the Ricky Rubio/Brandon Jennings sweepstakes. Lou Williams, while a dynamic scorer, is not a true point guard in my opinion and without Cheeks to tutor him anymore he'll probably end up being another Jason Terry clone.

As for Miller I'm sure teams will line up for his services.

The Mavs, while not playing lights out, are playing better as of late so it doesn't make sense a this pont to trade your second best player and best perimeter defender for Dirk 2.0 and another shooting guard. The trade clearly goes in favor of the Raptors.

Maybe the Knicks should ask Yankees to borrow some money to buy out Marbury since money is no object to overpay players.

Who would want Marbury at this point? I would think Miami, but they are playing great with the group of guards they have and do not need another guard who needs the ball to be effective to take away from Wade. I think maybe Italy is his best option at this point if he's ever released from his contract.

Did he think that Lee was Amare Stoudamire who is atheletic enough to maybe recover and block his shot? The truth is that with this current lineup and rotation LOTS of people will make layups with no fear of an shot blocker.

Unless of course Nate Robinson is in the game playing Yao Ming.

Unless some team foolishly stupid enough to give away a franchise player (ie Kobe, Garnett, Duncan, Yao, Wade) then it doesn't make sense to do a trade if the team is doing great at the moment.

Exactly. I think it's more of an media/fan craze than the endorsements and global icon status because he already has those while he's been in Cleveland.

Now he has a chance to enhance those by winning a championship in Cleveland, which has a pretty good team right now.

That's my point he got those endorsements playing for the Bulls and didn't feel he needed to jump to a New York market to futher expand himself in a business way. LeBron is well on his way to that status just by staying with Cleveland, not to mention a championship which is what really helped Michael, as well as any other sports figure in becoming a global icon.

Plus he plays the same position as LeBron. If he felt he was under appreciated for the Suns and sulked about it, then he definetly won't be happy playing as a reserve. An of course if you move him to PF for Wallace, then you will have another sulker.

I don't get how LeBron would be more famous than he already is if he went to New York. If anything it would be more of an distraction if LeBron signs with the Knicks and concentrated all his time on "other activities" than trying to win a championship for the Knicks, because in the end isn't that what the fans want?

Michael Jordan made lots, LOTS of money playing for only one team mostly throughout his career and this was before the crazy contracts of today's NBA where a Jerome James becomes a millionaire by having two great games in the playoffs.
