I still can't believe how many teams have flushed last year and this year in the toilet in the hopes of landing a free agent this upcoming summer. If I were a fan of one of these teams I'd return the favor by not going to games or buying team merchandise for same period of time.

It really pisses me off when teams with a strong fan base in their cities leave town because they don't get new stadiums (ala the Sonics in the NBA). Leave the Vikes where they are. Al Davis can stick his team where the sun don't shine because there's no way I'd rout for them again after the way they bailed on the city last time around. Not to mention he'd only run back up to Oakland after the lease in L.A. ran out.

I want an expansion team or I'm just going to stick to the Trojans for my fix on football.

I want a team back in L.A. bad, but would not welcome the Raiders back. Davis moves that team around so often that you know they'd be gone again in a few years.

Whatever the case please don't play Corp next game. Give Mustain a shot if Barkley isn't good to go. From what I saw in Saturday's game Corp has one of the worst arms that I've ever seen in a QB.

I agree. Its amazing how so many couch jockeys can get on the case of pro athletes when the only balls they've touched are their own and they have a huge spare tire. A.I. isn't washed up, he just did not fit in well with Detroit and as always had a primadonna complex that did not work with Detroit's team orientated style.

Because every time the time looks for a new coach they pass him over as they did when fired Del Harris (he was only interim coach to finish out the season), and after they didn't re-up Phil's contract last time (brought in Rudy T). Kurt is tired of waiting, and you can't really blame him.

Yup, and you know what...sad thing is I think Michael Cooper might be ahead of Rambis on Jerry Bus' list too. Poor dude. Really, he needs to understand that he will not get to be head coach of the Lakers unless he wins elsewhere first.

Rambis didn't have the same exact team as Phil, Jackson brought about a few vets from his days with the Bulls (Ron Harper and John Salley), both of which helped out with their poise and experience. Not to mention that Kobe wasn't fully mature yet. Give Rambis a break and the benefit of a doubt.

I second this...he wants to be the eventual coach of the Lakers, but Bus only seems to want to hire experienced coaches who've already proven themselves as winners. If he coaches the Kings for awhile then maybe he'll get a shot after Phil retires.

The only way I'd want the Rams back in L.A. would be if a prominent L.A. citizen bought the team so we'd have some kind of assurance that they wouldn't leave town anytime soon; that and change the name to something else. Magic Johnson was looking to bring the NFL back with his proposed Hacienda stadium...hope he is on the phone making offers.
