Given how much they paid to buy the Dodgers, it seems like the G group won't ever recover their investment in what remains of their life time through pure baseball operations. You'd think they'd gladly use some of the excess land for a football stadium and possibly part ownership of a nfl team.

Outsiders love to say that L.A. didn't support it's football teams. Do some research and you'll see that it has. We were raped by two owners...especially that ho-bag Georgia Frontiere (may she rot in hell).

I'm wondering if Jim Bus is on drugs.

We all know he's not resigning with the Lakers. He already has a foot out the door.

State of Los Angeles? I knew fan nation hired idiots, but wow!

They are not even with the Clippers because the Clippers had most of the big pieces in place and have been able to sign the right accompanying pieces. The Mavs only had Dirk and then rushed to fill roster spots after they failed getting the big fish. It's a hodgepodge that doesn't fit well and was hastily thrown together.

Even if it does pop again, they are so deep they have other good talent to replace him. They can play Crawford of Bledsoe as the 2 guard and pretty much not skip a beat.

The Grizzlies will be around the top 5 (all the records up there will be close to each other), but the Mav's? There time passed when Cuban didn't resign members of the championship team. They signed low 2nd and 3rd tier players to replace them, and Dirk isn't getting any younger.

The Lakers bench will be suspect, their depth chart is weak at pg after Nash (and his poor defense), and who knows if Dwight will be the same coming back from back surgery. I think the Clippers are loaded at every position, and have one of the deepest benches in the league. The only thing that might screw it up is if Del Negro is in over his head coaching them. If they have a slide like they did mid-season last year then he must be cut loose.

I believe him.
Posted Monday August 20, 2012, About: Is Vinny Del Negro L.A.'s next GM?
My problem with stories like these are that they ask why not, but don't give a reason why the Clippers would actually do it. In other off the cuff why not scenarios with no reason given in support, why not bench CP3 in favor of starting Bledsoe, have Clipper Daryl be the p.a. announcer, and have Blake Griffin sing songs to entertain the fans at half time?

You overlook the fact that both men play the same position.

Posted Sunday June 26, 2011, About: Why Bills may end up in L.A.
For all you people saying that L.A. can't support a football team, look at the support that its given USC. For all of you saying that we don't deserve another team after losing two, you should consider that circumstances that we lost them under. Al Davis is always a threat to play a shell game with a team, and the Rams left because of that ****-bag Georgia Frontierre horribly mismanaged the team.

The Clippers have Deandre Jordan, the guy who started all those many games while Kaman was injured.

He's probably had to pawn it by now so the bookie wouldn't break his kneecaps. It amazes me how athletes with millions still gamble. Gambling is supposed to be for average joe's like us to give us hope of winning a fraction of the kind of money that these guys make.

Jerry West has never owned any team. Hell, he wasn't even affiliated with the Grizzlies when the trade happened because he had quiet before then.

With all these injuries that they have all dealing with knees you got to question what the training staff is doing wrong.

I should say if Yao doesn't coax them into signing him first.
