Posted Tuesday June 30, 2009, About: Giants scouting Dye, Martinez
Trading Martinez almost makes sense. By trading him, you will get great value. Let's not forget the Giants are the same team that gave up Francisco Liriano and Joe Nathan for A.J. Pierzynski. Plus, the Indians have Carlos Santana in the minors to come up and replace Victor.
Posted Sunday June 01, 2008, About: WWE's Lashley signs with AFL
At first I though he was signing with the Arena Football League, which would have been funny. But I think he could do well in MMA.
Posted Monday February 04, 2008, About: Did Cavs ask about Sixers guard?
I also heard the Cavs are "interested" in getting Kobe Bryant, Kevin Garnett, Dwight Howard, Chris Bosh, Tim Duncan, and Chris Paul.
Posted Tuesday January 15, 2008, About: Cavaliers commit to coach
I'm not a huge Brown fan, but as long as they don't give Ferry an extension, that's okay with me.
Posted Thursday December 06, 2007, About: Steeler guarantees win over Pats
I guarantee that Anthony Smith will not be making anymore guarantees after this game.
Posted Wednesday December 05, 2007, About: Pirates-Indians deal in works
Bay gives the Indians exactly what they need, a power hitting corner outfielder. Hopefully, Shapiro can get this deal done. Oh and is there anyway the Cavs can get Shapiro to be their GM too?
Posted Tuesday November 27, 2007, About: Redskins' star Taylor dies
Sean Taylor made plenty of mistakes both on the field and off. He was very raw and troublesome his early years in the NFL. Clearly, having a child changed his life. I am not even a Redskins or Sean Taylor fan, and I am still distraught. I know it doesn't make the situation any better, but at least this didn't happen at a night-club or strip-club at 3 in the morning.
Posted Tuesday November 27, 2007, About: Inside Varejao-Cavs impasse
This has gotten to the point where I don't want to see Varejao in a Cavs uniform. There's no way he's worth what he's asking for, and if you want to play in Europe or whatever, go ahead.
Posted Monday November 26, 2007, About: NFL analyst: Favre, Romo overrated
Now I too feel that Romo did get a little too much credit too early, but is he really the 5th most overrated QB in the history of the NFL? I vote Sal Paolantonio as the most overrated football analyst/writer, followed by Mark May and Trev Alberts.
Posted Monday November 26, 2007, About: JaMarcus may get off bench
It's better to see early that you have two of the same QB in the form of Daunte Culpepper and JaMarcus Russell. Now the Raiders can look to find another overrated offensive lineman to complement Robert Gallery.
Posted Friday November 09, 2007, About: Source: Webber would consider Cavs
What exactly does Webber have that the Cavs need? Does he play the point now?
Posted Wednesday November 07, 2007, About: Irish transfer visiting Hawkeyes
If I was Iowa, I would not want to take any o-linemen from ND.
Posted Sunday November 04, 2007, About: Rasheed: LeBron conspiracy?
I totally get what Rasheed is saying. There is a conspiracy. LeBron James and the rest of the Cavs conspired and devised a plan to beat the Pistons and knock them out of the playoffs in order for themselves to advance to the NBA Finals instead. It's just that simple. Dwyane Wade and the Heat did it two years ago. When will teams stop conspiring to beat the Pistons.
Posted Friday November 02, 2007, About: Hokies wear Ga. Tech jerseys
I just love the fact that they put his name on the back in Sharpie or something. Nothing looks more Division I than having your name written on the back of your jersey. It only would have been better if they stuck duct tape on the back and wrote on that, which is what they should have done.
Posted Friday November 02, 2007, About: A-Rod in Marlins uniform?
I heard A-Rod is going to play for the Mexicali Azules of the Liga Norte de Sonora. He is trying to pull a Beckham and make baseball as big in Mexico as it is in America. The contract will be worth $450 million over 6 years.
Posted Thursday November 01, 2007, About: Boras blames Rivera for A-Rod's woes
I agree with Boras. Without Rivera, the Yankees would have lost more games, thus not giving A-Rod the chance to choke in the postseason.
Posted Thursday October 25, 2007, About: LeBron doesn't want Kobe in East
Why is this a big deal? Of course he wouldn't want Kobe in the East. That's like having LeBron say that he wants to win championships.
Posted Thursday October 25, 2007, About: Giuliani irks Yankees, Sox fans
I know this sounds kind of stupid, but the fact that he is cheering for the Red Sox is scary in terms of the fact that he could become President. If you're a Yankees fan, so what. I don't think people will say, "Well, I was going to vote for Guiliani, I like his policies, but he's a Yankees fan, so I'll vote for somebody else." Maybe I'm just nieve, but who you root for generally does not translate too much into amount of votes. Now, the fact that he chose to root for his hated rival looks just plain weird. If he can change his mind about something like this and totally contradict what he said in the past, what kind of President would he be? Probably a lot like the one we have now.
Posted Wednesday October 24, 2007, About: Hogs interested in Heels coach?
I honestly think he could do more at UNC. Playing in the ACC, it is much easier to make the BCS. I know right now the talent level isn't even close, but with time, he can get the recruits to come to Chapel Hill. If they lose Butch Davis, maybe they can go after Brian Kelly or someone like that.
Posted Wednesday October 24, 2007, About: LeBron discusses Cavs issues
As a Cavs fan, it would anger me very much for LeBron to leave. But I realize why he would. They have done nothing to help him. I understand he is from Akron, but he deserves to go where he can win. Ilgauskas is only getting older, Gibson is not a point, Hughes is overpaid and overrated, and they don't have any depth without Varejao and Pavlovic. Oh and how good does it look that they didn't trade Varejao and/or Pavlovic for Mike Bibby?
Posted Monday October 22, 2007, About: Report: Bengals Johnson is trade bait
As a Bengals fan, I love Chad Johnson. Many believe he is one of the main reasons Cincy is 2-4, but I don't blame him for anything. With that said, I think a trade would be the best thing for the Bengals. I have enough faith in Marvin Lewis and Mike Brown to believe they could get good value. There are too many holes on defense to not at least look to see what you could get.
