The place was called WET. Could it have been a late night water park?? Maybe he got in a fight with the guys because they cut in line for the speed slide. I know that makes me mad when someone cuts in front of me on the speedslide!

We are ripping him because he messed up. Just like he guys in Cincy. The guys have to learn to stay out of positions that seem to always get players in trouble.

I wonder when the guys will realize that nightclub = trouble for these guys. Even if the don't initiate these things, there are people out there that are jealous of what these guys have and will try to bring them down. It just seems that if these guys would stay out of clubs, a lot of the problems we see would disappear.

I personally think that Culpepper is done in the league. I don't know if the knee injury had affected his throwing mechanics or if he is worried about getting injured again. He just isn't the same player.

ocpete, I agree with you 100%. While it is probably a bit of "gold digging", these guys that are in the spotlight need to stay out of the situations. I realize these guys are normal men, but they are getting paid big $$$ to play the game. Realize you are role models and earn your money!!

I give two s@%#s about dog fighting. If I see an article about a "normal" guy running something like this, I would be as angry as I am now. I hope anyone that gets caught, star or not, gets put in jail for as long as possible. And trust me, I have met people that have made comments like old Clinton "I am a moron and put my foot in my mouth" Portis and I have no problem letting them no they are wrong.

mikosen, I agree that we don't talk enough about the Drew Brees, Warrick Dunn, or Reggie White types. I guess it is a little bit of the way the media hovers over negative issues anymore. It's a shame, but it is a fact of life I guess.

I don't think he should be suspended, but he should be fined for what he said. He was an advocate of a felony. I mean I know that rape is worse than dog fighting, but if he joked around about a player raping someone, he would get fined or worse. A suspension would be too much, but a fine would fit the stupidity.

I was a fan of Portis as well. I am not a fan of the skins, but I liked the way he ran and his "alter egos" made me laugh. After he opened his mouth on this issue, I lost all respect for him.

I am not a Mikey fan, but I do feel sorry for the guy. Anyone who asks what his problem is is crazy. Lake Fan24 said, he started a new team, which is tough enough. Then he takes on the Toyota cars in his first year. That is a tough undertaking for any man. With that being said, he had to know what he was getting himself into this year. Either way, I hope they figure something out because it is getting sad.

I am not a Stewart or Busch fan, but that wreck was not Tony's fault. Kurt came up the track and put Tony in the wall. Both guys race to "hard" and complain too muc when it is done to them. What happened on the track is just agressive driving to me. No big deal there. If they want to keep wrecking each other, thats their rear-ends in the points race. My problem like I said before is that bull crap in the pits. Kurt needs to be punished by being off the track even if it for only 1 week. That is like a hockey player jumping in a friggin Zamboni and going to voice their displeasure. Too dangerous!

There were cry babies in the sport 10 years ago too (just far less of them). They can't have the fist fights and such because that is going to feed into the "rednecks only" mentality that is out there. That is bad business for Nascar.
