Interesting. Could this possibly be the file photo for Kenny Smith? I wonder why I haven't seen any other coaching candidates profiled with a similair pic. In fact , why doesn't Matt Leinert's Co-ed pic be shown when they speak of him? Bad taste fannation. Let's get it right and stop using this photo when mentioning kenny Smith for Head Coaching Vacancies!

People need to understand that coaching involves so much more than X's and O's. In college, his style can work because he would be getting fresh legs into campus every year and with the best college players staying only 1 or 2 years, they won't burn out before they leave. I am a Chicagoan and a BULLS fan and I for one got tired of Skiles' criticisms of the players. Most have gone elsewhere and done well (see Tyson Chandler) or are starters. Imagine this, you are an old NBA veteran and he expects you to run up and down the floor every day in practice and in games, no break. You will break down but yet he says he desires having vets on his teams. Yeah, that worked out well (see Ben Wallace, PJ Brown). Young players making millions don't like to get yelled at when they make millions and know the reasons they are not winning is not because of their efforts but because management won't get star players

Big Ben was never a great offensive player. So I don't understand the negative comments about his offensive game. But I will say this, I don't believe he will be a great help to the Cavs. I actually think they down graded from Gooden to Wallace. Wallace's best years are clearly behind him and as demonstrated time and time again you can't have him out there late in close games becuase he can't shoot from the free throw line. It is obvious why the BULLS made the move, however I think the CAVS made the move to get rid of Hughes and his contract. Not to mention Lebron was becoming frustrated that Cavs management were not getting anyone for him as he saw bigger names get traded elsewhere. So the Cavs feklt pressure to bring in a big name in hopes to appease Lebron.

Skiles can't coach, period! The coach has the responsibility to get the players ready for the season. If he claims Thomas, a second year player, isn't doing what he is supposed to be doing that is because it was not ingrained in him during the summer and pre-season where players actually play NBA sanction games (Summer league and Pre-season) and let's not forget training camp. The team is tuning him out and/or playing below their talents to make Kobe not want to be traded to Chicago, in order to protect their "precious" core.

I am so sick of these trade rumors. Paxson and Skiles should be fired if they don't do this deal. i don't give a d*mn what they think Deng will become. He will never be a Kobe and quite possibly never become a Ricky Davis. He doesn't have the killer instinct (mentality) to do so. I say package Deng or Gordon, but not both ,in a trade for Kobe. Maybe throw in Hinrich if they will take him. Hinrich is overated and overpaid. Let's keep in mind Duhon ran the point for the BULLS for a nice little while until they felt Gordon was ready to start. Which shouldn't have taken that long anyway. So what you are really asking is which player is better at shooting guard? Gordon or Hinrich. The answer is obviously Gordon! Trade for Kobe now, if we keep Gordon in the deal, move Kobe to the three, if we keep Deng, move Kobe to the two guard position. This is so basic! Get this d*mn deal done or stop talking about it! I mean Jerry (Team's Owner) once signed Dennis Rodman, so what is the problem here?!

This must be another episode of "Porch Pals" (Simpson's reference), starring McHale and Ainge! I mean how could McHale be so stupid to pass up the BULLS offer for the garbage he got from Boston! He will be fired fairly soon, two to three years is my guess! Not saying that Jefferson and Green aren't good players. But the BULLS players were much better. Also, what's up with the draft picks!? I mean if Boston does well, which they should with their new big three, those draft picks are going to be at the end of the first round! Again, what the h*ll was McHale thinking!?

How stupid can you be. I mean come on, if you are a true Chicagoan, like myself, you know what areas you should and should not be in at certain times of the night. Especially, when you are wearing $55,000 watches and the like. Chicago has produced a lot of professional athletes, and times are really hard for people ,income wise, across the US. Paxson, please trade for this guy no matter what the cost! I mean The BULLS have so much young talent that I can't even forsee how you could "gut " the roster for KG. If the BULLS don't do this and decide to stay pat at least try to sign Chris Webber for a year as a free agent. Adding him to the roster's current group of players would solve the BULLS low post problem for a year and then see what happens.

Paxson, Please get this guy. I mean cmon this is a no brainer. Do this trade no matter what the cost in trade value. I mean Minny's asking price has to be down due to lack of trade partners and broken deals. The BULLS must get this one done. They have too much talent to worry about gutting a roster. DO THIS!!!!!

That's a stupid trade for the BULLS. I mean how old is Marion, he has got to be approaching his down side and where would you play him with Deng and Tyrus Thomas on the roster and needing more minutes. Seems like the nuts and bolts of this trade is Gordon who, as I understand it, may be in the BULLS' doghouse. A Gordon for Marion deal straight up would not make sense for the BULLS and to through in Nocioni is just ridiculous!
