spaul, I know at some point Silva is going to get beat, but Cote ain't going to be the one to do it. Silva has faced much stiffer competition than Cote. I have seen all of Cote's fights in the UFC and he really doesn't impress me. He is a decent fighter, but I don't think he is anywhere near the elite level.

Truth, are you serious? You don't think Chuck has anything to gain by beating Silva? I think quite the opposite. I don't think Silva has anything to gain from taking this fight. Chuck always has a chance to KO anyone he steps in the ring with. A win over Silva would give Chuck a big boost right now after his last loss to Evans.

MoonKnight, I don't get the athleticisn cmment. I never do understand that. In case peope aren't aware almost every MMA fighter is a great athlete and very athletic. It's going to take more than athleticism for Cote to stay in this fight. It is going to take fighting skills, and I think Silva's skills are just too much for Cote to handle.

I'd be happy to see Cote and get KO'd. There's a first time for everything Patrick, and if you stand with Silva they will be waking you up and telling you how the fight ended.

Dana won't have anything to do with him. He is already fed up with Tito and has plenty of better fighters than Tito already.
Posted Sunday October 05, 2008, About: Is Kimbo Slice done?
Trojan, are you serious? He shouldn't have taken the fight because the other guy has done TKD since age 6? The guy was a bum and Kimbo should have easily walked through him. He barely got hit and dropped like a sack of potatoes. He can train al he wants, but he's already 34. He isn't going to learn enough in the time he has left.

Actually snake, he didn't have a baby. His gf is preggo's, but she hasn't had the kid yet.

And so is Kimbo. KO'd quickly. Wow, what is Elite XC going to do now that thier posterboy got KO'd by a nobody.

Hyped, I hear what you are saying, but I will stick by my statement. Shamrock has 0% chance of winning. Did you see his last fight? When was the last time he was even competative in a fight? He's too slow to get a takedown and has no power in his punches.
Posted Saturday October 04, 2008, About: Ortiz out of action until 2009
The guy is done. His career was already on the decline. He won't have another significant win in his career. Mr. Spartacus, don't forget how Randy dominated him too. I think Tito always thought he was better than he was.

Loki, a wrestlers greatest strength is not getting put on his back in the first place. Takedowns and escpapes from the bottom, but if you are on your back, then the match is pretty much over in amatuer wrestling. I pretty much agree with everything else you say. People don't give enough respect to Randy's Greco roman background either. Makes much better use of leverage in a lockup. I have a feeling Randy has a couple of suprises for Brock.

Loki, by the end of the match? So, you actually think Ken will make it to the end of the fight? I say he doesn't make it past the 1:00 mark.
Posted Friday October 03, 2008, About: EliteXC's future on Kimbo's shoulders
0% chance of Ken Shamrock knocking him out.
Posted Friday October 03, 2008, About: How Couture plans to beat Lesnar
Loki, Actually as a wrestler Brock is not used to being on his back at all. He has been taught to avoid ever being on his back, so escapes from on your back really aren't wrestlers greatest strength. Randy does have good control on the ground, but not usre how much success Randy would have holding Brock down. He's so darn strong and explosive.

And if Randy uses legs kicks he is giving Brock a chance to grab one and dump him on his back.

Hank, now if you can only find a sucker to take the other end of the bet.
Posted Thursday October 02, 2008, About: Couture: Slice needs new skills
Al, I hear what you are saying and I am always up for a vicious KO, but would you pay for a PPV with Kimbo as the headlining fight? I wouldn't. If I am buying a PPV event I want to see a couple of great fighters going at it. Not a guy with a big punch and the loser they stick him in there with. The reason Elite XC is going under is because they only have a couple of decent fighters and while people may be curious about Kimbo you can't build and organization on a guy who is an average fighter at best.

I have to agree with Robert. This girl is smoking hot.

Buffalo, if anyone know about MMA it's Randy Coutore. He know's it isn't strickly a wrestling match, and I don't think for 1 second he is going to try to outwrestle Lesner, but I could be wrong. I didn't think he was going to come out and catch Tim Sylvia with a punch and put him on his back either. One thing I have learned from watching Randy over the years is no one gameplans a fight better than Randy.
Posted Thursday October 02, 2008, About: Couture: Slice needs new skills
Give Me UR Money, if Kimbo is bringing in so much cash, then tell me why Elite XC is forced to co-promote an event with Affliction. I'll tell you why, because fans of MMA have no interest in seeing Kimbo Slice, because we all know he would get easily tapped against a decent fighter. I dont' want to see him headline an event, because I want to see a quality fight in the headline event. I don't want to see a guy who can only punch against a bunch of nobodies. I wouldn't want to see Brock LEsner fight a bunch of losers either, but the UFC puts him in there against top fighters to see just how good he is. Kimbo is being coddled.

And betting money says he will win again this year.
