i would bet money that michigan will be back in the tournament this year. not only that- but they'll sweep osu in the basketball season and win in the football season.
Posted Tuesday June 05, 2007, About: Indiana unsure of coach's future
This is a truly sad thing to see. As a Miami Ohio graduate, I can recall standing out in front of Yager Stadium on game days and witness the tradition he established at the school that still continues of the students and coaches walking across campus to the field locker rooms in their warm ups. Believe me, the one loss team a few years ago at Miami was not just Roethlisberger. Terry contributed a lot to the program when we actually saw a lot of wins. He is a talented coach, and if for some awful reason Indiana decides they would be better off without him, I hope he coaches somewhere and demonstrates he is more than capable of building a great program at a small school even like he did at Miami when he was there.

I'm tired of all these big named recruits going to Ohio State. Yeah, this is coming from a Michigan fan who used to live in Ohio, but I don't see why some of these recruits don't go to schools that are right at that next step of being a powerhouse and have not won a championship in more than a decade instead of the ones that are always in the top 5 in the rankings. Sure, Ohio State has a masive fanbase, but if their defense gets praise when Sweat is their leader- OSU fans will talk about how "awesome" he is. If he leads a team like Nebraska or Texas A&M to a conference championship even, people will talk about him as their "hero" or"savior" for the team. I'm just tired of programs like USC and Florida snatching all the great recruits because the kids want to get a championship fast and easy. That's like me saying I want to be a baseball fan so I start rooting for the RedSox or Yankees (except for this year) because I know they'll get the trophy faster than other teams.
Posted Thursday May 31, 2007, About: Weis sold Browns on Quinn
Whether Brady Quinn played for Notre Dame or another college team that was actually part of a major conference, the Browns still got a steal by picking him so late in the first round of this years draft. If he gets to the Browns and has a poor first 4 or 5 games, it won't be due to him but instead due to the team surrounding him. Kellen Winslow needs to not be injured for the season, and Braylon Edwards needs to stop dropping open passes that he had no problems at all with when he was at Michigan. And I am a Michigan fan, so there's no OSU bias there. I see Quinn going .500 this year, and then turn the Browns into a winning team like Carson Palmer did for the Bengals.
