People are never happy. If a foul had been called on that play, all the talking heads would be complaining that a ref decided the outcome of the game. It happens every time a late foul is called. Now that it wasn't called, they complain about that.

The problem with this rule is that black candidates don't get into the head coaching pipeline. Offensive and Defensive Coordinators are the future Head Coaches. There are the same number of black coordinators as head coaches currently, but with twice the positions.

The problem is not with owners hiring white head coaches, it is with head coaches not hiring black coordinators.

Tow yards in Gainesville are ridiculous. They hide signs and engage in other predatory practices. I got towed from a parking lot in Gainesville after being there 10 minutes and the only "no parking" sign was behind a tree.They should have delivered the car back to Joiner rather than make him come get it.

The Good Doctor may have a point here. Francis could come along and turn out to be a star. As a non-fan of Francis, I don't think it will happen. Chauncey Billups had a similar path as Francis. CB was drafted #3, then failed at 4 teams. He was completely off the radar screen before he finally got it together in Detroit and proved to be a solid point guard. Francis, a #2 pick, seems to be a bit more of a head case, and at 29, he is older now than Billups was when he woke up. On the other hand, Francis probably has more raw talent than Billups. If Francis grows up the same way Billups did, some team will be getting a steal.

That's not a criticism of Tiki. Sounds like the media is trying to stir up some drama on a slow news day. What do you expect Eli to say - "Without Tiki, we are screwed. There's no way we can win without him". No way. Every team is excited about taking the field with the guys that show up to play, including Eli.

I hope he goes to the Lakers. Francis and Kobe pass less often than Miss Daisy. Then we can make an over/under bet on how long it will be before him and Kobe get into a fist fight during a game. I'd take Thanksgiving.

Brevin is a solid point guard and he will get scooped up quick. C-money made a nice call with Houston. He would fit in well there. Cleveland, Seattle, Miami or the Lakers should all be calling BK if they are smart.

Griz should let Gasol go. He is only good for the first 8 minutes of the game, then has a few random good minutes throughout the game. He dieappears the rest of the time. His passes are lazy, his turnovers are too many, and his defense is brutal. I have one word for the Lakers if they pick up Gasol - Lottery.

Come on guys. Yesterday the headline was that LaRussa was unsure if he would take Bonds for the All-Star Game. Nothing else has happened, yet the headline has now changed to LaRussa is going to snub Bonds. Whoever is writing headlines needs to spare me the drama.
