That's how these NBA franchises think nowadays, naxself!Super-brain's working just fine! Just being optimistic! Hehe!

Glen Taylor is just probably being realistic about the situation the Wolves are in. It's better to rebuild now while Garnett still has trade value and they can get get several talented players in return.

Those are good suggestions! Ryanpap23! I would like Al Horford to be a Laker. It would be good to go after Rodney Stuckey, Acie Law, Nick Young, Jason Smith, Rudy Fernandez or Cory Brewer in the first round. In the Second Round, it would be wise to go after Marc Gasol,Glen "Big Baby" Davis and Aaron Affalo. :)
Posted Tuesday June 26, 2007, About: Who killed 4-team Garnett deal?
Danny Ainge, Larry Bird and Kevin McHale probably killed this four-way trade because of theirhatred for the Lakers going back to their rivalry in the 80s. They can't stomach the fact that this trade will surely put the Lakers back into title contention. Too bad for them. The Lakers and Wolves are still talking because of their owners desire to push through with this trade. Glen Taylor doesn't want tooffer Garnett a contract extension. Jerry Buss is very willing to offer that extension the moment Garnett becomes a Laker! Garnett is looking forward to his new start in Los Angeles!

The trade between the Lakers and the Wolves make more sense since their owners, Jerry Buss and Glen Taylor, are the ones making sure that this trade pushes through.

It's the most logical thing to do! They want to get something in return for Garnett before he can opt out from his contract next year. They're afraid that they might not get anyone in return for him, if he does opt out. They also want to unload some big contracts so theycan havesalary cap space so they can sign other players. :)

By the way I tried this out on the Trade Machine of another site and it was approved. Some food for thought for Mitch Kupchak. Garnett, Hudson/ Smith, Artest, Head and Snyder would surely play well with Bryant, Walton, Turiaf, Farmar, Mihmand Vujacic. You can also bring in free agents like Billups, Orberto or Maurice Williams. :)

I like this deal. But I would also suggest a four-way deal that involves the Lakers, Timberwolves, Rockets and Kings. The Lakers should send Odom, Bynum and Radmanovic to the Wolves for Garnett and Hudson or Craig Smith. They will then send Cook and his poison pill contract to the Rockets for Luther Head and Kirk Snyder. Lastly, they will send Kwame Brown to the Kings for Ron Artest. They traded 5 players away and got 5 quality players in return. If Jerry Buss wantsto break his bank, he should also go after Chauncy Billups. :)
Posted Monday June 04, 2007, About: Lakers ask Nuggets about Camby
If they're laughing at the Lakers offer of Kwame Brown for Marcus Camby, I would sweeten it by adding Vladimir Radmanovich or Sasha Vujacic. The Nuggets could include other players in this possible deal.
Posted Monday June 04, 2007, About: Jermaine wants deal to Lakers, Knicks
I would trade Lamar Odom for Jermaine O'Neal. But I would prefer if the Lakers found a way to get Jermaine without having to give up Lamar. I would also probably send Andrew Bynum to the Nets to get Jason Kidd or to the KIngs to get either Mike Bibby or Ron Artest.
