does anyone even know if Cowher is a possibility or are we all just spinning yarns hoping that just because he likes living in NC (and who doesn't :-) ) that he would come and coach the panthers?

yeah...'franchising' Peppers was a huge mistake...is any player really worth that much $$ per game?
and whoever Delhomme's agent is deserves the salesman of the decade award for getting that kind of contract for him.

I'm still not positive that Vick would have been the right choice...they need more of a "Brady-esque" QB who can manage between working with talented run game as well as the talented receivers....any team would kill to have Smith and Williams to pass and run with and yet Delhomme can't get it to either of them...Vick's passing is still a bit suspect, though he still looks like his wheels are in pretty good shape.

putting the franchise tag Peppers and not getting that salary cap $$ back...giving Dehomme an extension... signing no real backup QB...it's almost like the management thinks there is more $$ in a bad season than a good one...leaves me scratching my head and glad I didn't buy any home game tickets this year...
