Amen Bedlam! This is old news and someone trying to stir the pot again! They have definitely improved over last season BUT because no one wants to report the improvements or upside, they'll just bring all the haters out so they can start they're crap tirades. Just let the damn season start and let's see where everyone is at. This is one of the reasons I stopped reading this website so much.

LocNar, I'm not one to judge but you probably should clarify whether you just don't want to pay for the network or you just don't want to watch at all. Yes, we have been one of the most atrocious teams in the league for the past 5 seasons, but I'll be damned if I ever stop watching them. I moved from Melbourne, FL a year ago and every Sunday I would throw my raiders gear on and head over to the local watering hole to hoot, holler, and scream my butt off for my team. I will never stop watching because they aren't doing well. That is why I bought season tickets when I moved to Oakland.

They WILL get better. No team stays down forever and, I believe, this season they will turn things around. You can't argue with their off-season moves, since they only make them better.

According to their article, "If the lid cover is loose or off, it can give the car a slight aerodynamic advantage." Now they didn't sound to sure about this comment, but nonetheless they said it. Some people may turn to the mediots when they don't know the effects. Honestly, I don't see how it provides even the slightest aero advantage, but hey, I've been wrong before.

Daunte played well, plain and simple. He didn't have to throw the ball since the ground and pound was doing the job just fine. Basically, it comes down to a "if it ain't broke don't fix it" mentality. Why change the game plan when it has been effective. That is why Daunte only threw for 75yrds. I'm sure this will change as we go up against defenses that are better against the run. PLAY TO YOUR OPPONENT'S WEAKNESSES!!!

Are you saying no one from the team you root for has ever taunted the fans??? Are you kidding me? What Dante did was hardly unclassy. Well, since McCown is injured Russell is the 3rd string quarterback. Obviously he will not see any playing time, but if both Pep and Walter go down then he will definitely go in.

I do believe Mears contract is up after 08 and Tony is not being to quick to sign at this moment. Tony may feel that his fan base would be a little upset if he permanently switches to a Toyota ride. 1) Yes, Bailey got an interception. I wasn't really concerned because McCown isn't that great of a QB so it was bound to happen. Shoot, a damn defensive tackle got an interception so why didn't Bailey or Bly have 3 a piece?? Passing game was sorry but not nonexistent. Hey, no big deal you called the interception so I'll give you that. BUT please do not make any excuses about losing to the Pats...it was inevitable, why do you think I said good luck?? The Bolts aren't going far bud, believe that!!


2) Oh and this statement? "Har har har the Raiders? In the Broncos' house? Actually beat them? Hahahahahahaaha!" WOW, you came damn close to swallowng a load on that one, BUT I guess they did win....BARELY! And many sports sites said that TO was damn close and could have been questionable but I'm a good sport and can admit fair gamesmanship. Oh and the reason the kick was a bit off wasn't actually because of Janikowski, rather the place kicker admitted to moving a little then having to reach for the snap when it was off center! It wasn't necessarily about icing anyone, it was about a divot that was trying to be avoided and cost us the game. BUT I digress, we lost and I can accept it since I knew it would be a battle till the end as I said!

3) I never said McCown was the best QB. I said our receivers would wipe the floor with the CBs. The fact that McCown is a mediocre QB at best is the reason why the WRs were not active. On more than one occasion McCown could have sealed the deal if he had hit his damn target. So in summary, yes our WRs can destroy their secondary, even with champ and Bly (who got burned on more than one occasion). Uh let's see, yea that about sums it up. Oh wait I forgot, don't bring Pep into this until he has a chance to play because IF he played you would probably be singing a different tune!

AND what about this statement??? "Your only hope was the running game, until Dominic Rhodes got suspended" Well, I guess that theory is shot to hell since Jordan BY HIMSELF had 159yrds on 25 carries. Total rushing yards against the Donkeys was over 200!! Nuff said!

I'll be a good sport about it and say let's simply leave it at this...we were both cocky on this one and both right in some ways. It was a damn close game and probably could have went either way. We have another game against then at the end of the season and will be hosting so we can tak about it again soon. Most of our receivers have 2 or more inches on both Bly and Bailey. I really don't think they are that much of a threat.

Oh and that prediction, the only place you can take that thing is to the garbage. It'll be a lot closer than that and be a Raider victory.

I wouldn't worry about the jackasses making jokes. Most of them are either bandwagon jumpers or don't have the balls to say who their team is. If (and when) the Raiders start stomping people into the ground, all you will here is excuses from all the haters, blaming it on the refs or whatever else they can think of.
