It's possible. Evan Royster has 513 as a freshman and 1200+ as a soph. Depends on the depth.

Finger crossed for PSU... ML picked a great weekend to attend (thank God he didn't choose the Iowa white out).

They are compiling an incredible recruiting class this year (scout.com has them #2). Great atmosphere and PSU has a history of first round RB draft picks. (what they do in the pros is another story altogether). But PSU would be a great fit.

Oddly enough, they don't really need him. PSU got a commitment from the #1 fullback and a four star tailback/athlete. (Silas Redd). But getting ML would be sweet.

My gut tells me he'll stay closer to home in the SEC, tho.

I liked the call of benching Forcier for a series. Tate is the guy so I don't think there is a QB controversy. The reasons you have a backup are 1) in case the starter gets hurt or plays poorly (obviously), and 2) to provide a change of tempo/style, and 3) to change momentum or create a spark.

RR I think made the call for all 3 reasons. If Forcier stays in, I don't think UM scores that TD or even has a chance to throw that interception. It is like pulling a starting pitcher in the 8th inning... the guy's still the starter. Good call, IMO. It is why you have a bench so use it.
