I may be wrong, but I was never aware of a statute of limitations in making fun of a rival teams bad years or playoff collapses. Therefore, any discussion of the "Phillies Phold",if you will, is totally relevant. OH, that along with John Kruks' mullet and Mitch Williams.

They may need drama to thrive but obviously this bunch can't handle it. The Cowboys won't win anything this year. Terrell Owens will retire with no Super Bowl rings and will live the rest of his life with a severe case of the"Where did I go wrongsies?". Deion may be an idiot amongst other things but he's played for winners.

Who cares what Obama does with the bowling alley? He's the President, he can do what he wants. This isn't about basketballs superiority to bowling or vice versa, it's about how the President likes to spend his recreational time. Personally, I don't see why he can't have both...he's the leader of the country. If he wanted to put a steel cage in there and wrestle Joe Biden I wouldn't mind either...though it'd be cool to see.
Anyway, as long as the Lincoln bedroom isn't turned into a racquetball court I don't care...

This is like a really bad soap opera that you can't help but watch. The entertainment value alone is great. How one man could alienate owners,coaches,teammates, fans AND fans of other teams is mind blowing.
Wouldn't he be allowed in MSG if he bought a ticket? I'd laugh if he bought season tickets behind the Knicks bench!

I hate to say it as a Mets fan, but he's right. The Mets have done nothing the past 2 seasons to show otherwise. Whether or not he has payback coming his way...probably, but I hope not. Just do your talking on the field. The Mets can't seem to win a war of words with Philly so just play ball and shut up.

That guy is pretty goofy looking with that expression...
This was the best way to go about it, saying he resigned when he probably would have been fired if he dug in his heels. When did a University ANYWHERE do something because it was the right thing to do? Especially if it involved paying him $5 million bucks...
Tuberville had a bad year and it was compounded by the embarrassing loss to Alabama. He could have lost all of the other games,beat 'Bama and still had his job. People are insane about that rivalry down here.

This is all beyond ridiculous. If any of us had to be "ordered" to do our jobs instead of just doing them because it's what we were paid for, we'd all be unemployed. I can't feel bad for the Knicks or Marbury. I'm sure once he's gone someone will take a chance on him though.
