I can understand people wanting to put an * next to everything prior to the season opener last year against the Jets. Not going to argue about it because no one will concede anything on that. SInce that Jets game they went on a tear 17-1 losing the biggest game of the year to the Giants. I do not believe the Pats cheated from the Jets game onward especially with everyone looking at them and monitoring what they did. Here is how I look at it. If the Pats go far into the playoffs and win/lose the Super Bowl this year, would everyone just back off and say this was done by a great team, or would people still be bitter about past actions and claim they did something else to cheat? Your thoughts?

The Senator is just posturing so he doesn't look any worse. He took a hard line stance on something that he has no clue about and it burned him. Since Goodell and the league has already stated that there was nothing new produced Spector can now say conspiracy till the day he dies, which maybe soon at his age.

Walsh had nothing but what the Patriots already admitted to doing. He was fired from the Pats for taping a phone conversation with Pioli. The guy was dirty. I do realize some of you may believe that he was a perfect fit in the Pats organization because of his antics. Bottom line is that the Pats, since 2001, have been great and I forsee them being great for another 2 years or so. So to the haters out there just deal with it, its all you really can do.

Listen, teammates don't even know Harrison that well. It is very possible he has a dark side that was exposed for the 1st time. Let the justice system play out. If he is guilty, I am sure because of who he is and the money he has he will get off with a lesser sentence than anyone of us on this post.

What about Adrian Petereson of the Bears? In the games I saw him play, he may not have been spectacular, but I feel he could grow to be the # 1 back by getting 20-25 carries a game. In all the conversations of Benson losing his job no one has mentioned this kid.
