I find it funny how Miami, FSU, and sometimes Alabama fans find their way to any Florida thread to talk about how much they hate Tim Tebow. It's sad that you guys find humor in someone getting hurt, and don't start giving me the lines that "when I played football" because its a moot point. 95% of the Gator Nation has confidence in John Brantley who would start for at least 8 other schools in the SEC with the exception of maybe Arkansas, Ole Miss and Alabama. Unlike your teams we have a Plan B....do you know who your back up is? Hmmmm let me guess his name is We R. Screwed! Florida's defense and special teams are nothing to sleep on and thats what you get when you have a complete team! Regardless of who starts Florida will beat LSU by double digits mark it down.

Scott has to step up his game Saturday, he had a long run against a worn out Georgia defense on Saturday that saved them. Florida is too deep and too talented to let that happen so with that being said I will state the obvious Jordan Jefferson better be more prepared than he has been. Florida won't allow them to hang around like Mississippi State and Georgia did.

You gotta feel for Urban Meyer with the Tebow situation because he is in a no win situation. Play him and win and the masses will say "U didn't need him u should have rested him". And if he plays him and loses they will say "see he wasn't ready to play". Personally I think Brantley is a good quarterback and they could beat LSU without Tebow. Les Miles seems to find a way to do less with more more than any other coach in the SEC. LSU struggles against the run and Florida will expose that weakness.

Crimson Fried...there is dumb and then there is less than dumb which would be you. First of all if you came out of your Lawrence County meth lab long enough you would recognize that Florida and LSU are the big dogs in this conference. So what we only have 3 national championships at least they are all recognized, Bama on the other hand has 12 even though the NCAA recognizes 7 but who's keeping count. You guys wanna talk about the past but as soon as someone says B-E-A-R you guys get in an uproar. Saban should get the best talent in the state he doesn't have to compete with anyone....while we have 7 D-1 programs in our state that we have to compete against yet we still get the job done. And as far as the SEC Championship game went last year you guys are truly lucky it was only 4 quarters because you guys were toast at that point. (See Utah game 1 month later)

I know Pathfinder I thought about it after I posted it. I should have watered it down a little more for you. Actually I did graduate from Florida, I live in Alabama because you Auburn (grads) fans are too dumb to work at Marshall SFC. I still get tickled with NASA in Alabama too. You probably didn't even know that there was more to Marshall than the Space and Rocket Center did you? Enjoy supporting the 8th best team in the conference and if it works out for you maybe you'll get that elusive bowl birth to Shreveport.

Pathfinder....the last time you won a national championship was 1957 and you shared that one. That's 51 seasons, become relevant before you run your yap! I love the way you guys constantly rip on Bama when they have more national championships than you have had graduates of your mediocre program. Let's put this in perspective, Ole Miss has won a national championship more recently than you clowns. We may only have 3 but it's 3 more undisputed than you have. Tell your AD to step his game up and quick collecting a check from the SEC big dogs who are putting money in the war chest. At least Vandy is ballsy enough to admit they could care less about football...it's your turn!

Because we know what to say to get your feathers ruffled! When was the last time Alabama won anything meaningful? 1992? Wow that's 16 years ago. In that time span there have been 6 national champions from the SEC and I won't even tell you where 3 of them came from. Jealousy? I think not. At Alabama ya'll talk about history...at Florida we make it!

Who cares? Just because Alabama fans think he's the second coming it doesn't mean the rest of us give a squat about what he is thinking. Seriously the dude can coach but he only has 1 national championship in 13 years as a college head coach. Urban Meyer has 2 in 8 seasons and I don't care to hear what he has to say either...

Ummmm no one is worried about Kiffin, we have 4 coaches in our Conference who will make anyones top 10 list and a few more that aren't too close off. Kiffin isn't doing anything but irritating the wrong programs. How many time will he get a "half hundred" hung on him by Uncle Urban before Rocky Flop goes into another panic. Tennessee should have gotten Leech or Petersen at least they have proven they can coach. Kiffin's claim to fame is being called a liar by Al Davis... Al Davis!!! That's like being called evil by satan himself! And the sad part about it was not that Davis said it but no one denied it!

With the rise of teams finding success with the "Wildcat Formation" Tebow will have a place in the NFL. I am not saying he will be blazing from his rookie year but I think he will slide far enough in the draft that a team such as Indianapolis of New England could take a flier on him and develop him. NO he is not NFL ready today but he will play in the NFL for sure.

When he does come out and wins I want to hear all the nay sayers then. Not matter what he does it never seems to be enough for most people outside of the SEC who see him play every Saturday. He has a quality just like speed that you cannot coach and that is confidence, confidence to win or fail. And for the record Scott Frost & Eric Crouch couldn't throw a ball 15 feet never the less 50 yards!

Who ever said you have to be a "GREAT" quarterback to make it in the NFL? He's athletic and intelligent. Kurt Warner was bagging groceries the year before he won a Super Bowl and Eli Manning was considered a bust by everyone including his own teammates. Steve McNair was considered a risk because he played at HBCU and I would argue to say that he had a HOF career. So with that being said, Tim Tebow may never be Joe Montana but I can guarantee he will never be a Tim Couch!!!!!

That's cute. McCoy is pretty good but he is not Tebow. Bradford is better than McCoy and you guys will see what a difference it is playing against the SEC not Iowa State and Baylor.
