Ok you want the scoop on this! Notre Dame needs to be jumping at the Big 10 to join their conference and here is why. After the US Senate finds and rules that the BCS is violating anit-trust laws, the BCS will have no choice but to submit to a playoff. ESPN has already said they don't care what game is played, as long as they get to air it. Anyway, when it is all said and done, probably about 5-6 years from not, the playoff is going to be 16 teams. The top 5 teams in the nation and 1 team from each conference. The best teams get in, and every conference gets rep'd. Believe that..

Ok, first of all about Pennington. He has no addittude problems. As for what you said 50. They could not have had White any later than they got him, there were a few teams that were interested in him and if the Dolphins passed him up there, he wouldn't have been there for their later round 2 pick. If they feel that Henne will be better this year, then they need to do what they can. White will be a beast, at least for his first couple of years. Defensive coordinators are going to have nightmares about this guy and they will be calling the USF coaches asking for advice (seemed like USF was the only team that could ever slow him down).!!

And as far as McCoy? I have an eye for guys that will be good/great Qb's in the NFL. Put it this way, this year its not Stafford or Sanchez. It's Pat White, even though he may not be given the chance to play QB full time. Next year, its McCoy if he comes out. Past that, I'm not telling who my sophmores and freshman are yet.

The Big difference in trading up for Cutler and Trading up for Sanchez... Sanchez played for USC, awesome recruiting, better O-line, hell probably better everything. The Best D in the PAC-10 belonged to USC, and Defenses that Sanchez faced were average. Cutler played for Vanderbilt, no recruiting, team was garbage, but he willed that team to play better. Played against some of the Best Defenses in the SEC and could tear them up.

So this guy runs a 4.7 40 and was a decent guy at USC and he is getting draft consideration from several teams? **** I remember, i think last year or the year before that. David Ball broke a bunch of Jerry Rice's Div.II records and got knocked because he ran a 4.58 40. David Ball had some of the best route running abilities and hands in the draft, but because he was that slow no one took him. Hmm seems that it really is not how you do, its where you are coming from and who you know.

Everyone in Raider Nation needs to get a grip, Davis isn't going anywhere, his mom lived to be 103. The only way he is going away would be a crazy person assassinating him. So with that said, here are the other moves that need to happen!!

#1 Release Javon Walker (finished and will save money)
#2 Release Tommy Kelly (save as much money as they can. Kelly happens to be a decent DT, but no where worth what they paid for him)
#3 Trade Justin Fargas in the off-season (get whatever they can for him)
#4 Trade Michael Huff in the off-season (same principle from above)
#5 Draft a QB in the 3rd-5th round and bring in someone to complete with Russell and maybe put a fire under his ****, or put on the bench.
#6 Use all possible draft picks on DL and OL for the next 3 years.

Here is the situation. The Bears QB position is awful. Orton is a game manager and Grossman just likes to throw the ball down the field. Pennington may have a weak are now (didn't in college because i watched him throw the ball down the field to moss), but he is still one of the most acurate QB's in the league. He can't help that the Jets just completely sucked last year and that the 3-4 scheme getting put in on D didn't help their chances either. But here is a real Question. Even if he goes to the Bears, who is he going to throw the ball to? Berrian gone, Muhammed gone. But he is still better than Orton or Grossman, or Henne, or McCown, or Beck.

No one here reads do they? The Knicks want to clear up cap room because in 2010 they are going to make a run at Lebron James. Nate and Crawford make too much money so the Knicks are trying to sign Duhon for cheaper and then trade off nate and Crawford for someone they need. The guy is a backup point guard for the next 2 seasons, not part of the rebuilding process.

?? What the crap is this all about? Everyone is talking about what the Heat would do, draft beasley or trade down? Beasley has to be in that 2 spot for them to even consider anything, because if I was the Bulls GM I would take Beasley with the first pick. Then turn around and trade D. Gooden and K. Hinrich for either a True PG, or to get back up in the first round to select a young PG to play behind Duhon for a year. Then re-sign Gordon and Deng who will be happier with the works that happened in the off-season.
