Hines Ward, the face of the Pittsburgh Steelers, has been making Steelers QBs -- Kordell Stewart, Tommy Maddox, Charlie Batch, Ben Roethlisberger, and even Antwan Randel El -- look pretty good for a number of years now. It's frightening to think where the Steelers might be without him. But in the event of a power struggle with Roethlisberger, Ward is gonna lose. Youth beats out age every time.

Say, whatever became of that ``changing of the guard'' promise made by Chad Johnson and the rest of the Bengals during the 2005 season? Johnson said something about the Steelers being in ``black & white,'' and the Bengals being in glorious color. Those comments were made right after T.J. Whosyourmamma shined his shoes with a Terrible Towel. The Bengals' big mouths, empty promises and lack of character are the reason they are so much fun to dislike. You can't hate 'em. Heck, I'm glad the Steelers get to play (and beat) 'em twice a season.
