Wasn't he playing for the A's? It may be something there. Holliday looks pretty good since leaving, but that might just be the presence of Pujols in the lineup. Cabrera is a good player. I always thought the Red Sox should have kept him, especially considering the inconsistency and constant rotation they've had at that position since they won it all with Cabrera there.

I want people to stop using metaphors from other sports like a quarterback "pitching a perfect game" or a pitcher or point guard being referred to as the "team's quarterback". The metaphors within the actual sport are getting to be too much, don't start making cross over that don't make sense.

People would say that 13-16 is playing really well? Maybe against the BoSox, but getting spanked by the O's is embarrassing. They, along with Cliff Lee, are fading like I expected them to start doing last June.

Would adding four more teams really make a difference in a league of 30 teams? People may be less interested if their team is eliminated if they are fair weather fans or loosely tied to the game. Real baseball fans will watch any game (that doesn't involve the Rockies or Pirates).

Doesn't the double-negative mean that the Knicks in fact play defense and this would imply Lebron is paying them a compliment? As if to say, "The Knicks could play two defensive schemes: Defense or No Defense. The Knicks don't play No Defense, which obviously means they are playing Defense."
