Roger Clemens is not in the top echelon of pitchers in baseball today if you ask me. Irrespective of the distraction, he doesn't deserve the Olympic slot. THe BOZO needs to tuck his tail between his legs and go home.

Here's a novel idea all you Leaf fans out there. WHy don't we all simply stop buying tickets, tell those losers in MLSE to Foff....and then see how things shape up. NO overpriced free agents, no quick fixes, no BS. Put some money in scouting, go draft some players, teach em how to play team hockey and let's see where that goes. I've been putting up with this crap for too long.

Look at the NFL, it's all about the draft picks and picking players that fit the team system. NOw they're not quite the same, but you know where I'm coming from

I hope this proves once and for all that one player that does not make a team and that overpaying that one player might even hurt the harmony and single minded pursuit of a championship of that team.
NO ONE is worth the money that A-ROD is making...NO ONE! Any team that pays AROD more than he was making is CRAZY and FOOLISH. It does not guarantee a championship, and it only guarantees a lot of cash burnt. Just ask the Rangers who wanted to get rid of him VERY BADLY.
We'll see what happens.

I don't think the **** is the reporter. He just reports on incidents. 2 DUI's and the mother is laying into the reporter for dragging her family through the mud? What about the son that drinks and drives, twice? What would happen if he killed someone? Is she going to blame the victim for dying and lay a tirade into the family?
If I had done something moreally wrong, or illegal, I'd be annoyed that someone found out and reported it. But I'd be far more mad at myself for drinking and driving and getting behind the wheel of a car. The blame rests on her son, and perhaps the mother for not ensuring the son NEVER did that again.

Good for hall. He's not complaining. Complaining is when it's self directed. No, this is sticking up for a team mate who lost his job for what??? It's the lack of fairness and disclosure. it's their livelihood man, to just simply cut people without explanation is in human.

Good for DeAngelo Hall. I'm sure he's not always an Angel (pun intented) but on this one, I like the fact that he stood up for a team mate and friend.

You know, stereotype based humor is almost always funny for the originating person. For it to be in the name of jest, that humor should be shared by all. That's my opinion.

But I do have a confession to make. I sometimes laugh at this type of humour, and in fact most comedies with african-american, South American an asian culture are based on this type of humour.
Who can forget 'Born in East LA" or "Friday", "Barbershop" etc...

Hell, who hasn't laughed at stereotype based humour?

I'm not defending FastJoe for his initial words, but at least he was man enough to admit that perhaps it wasn't the wisest choice of words to make jest. I've been through worse, and shamefully admit that i've said worse....so, let's all just kiss and make up huh? whaddya say?

It's not funny. If it was funny, I'd at least give you guys the credit of creativity. Blackface went out the door 50 years ago, and making fun of Japanese accents was out 20 years ago.

Has anyone here noticed the trend I've been picking up on the last 4-5 years? The racists, the ignoramus and the bigots hide their offensive words and attitudes in the guise of humour and then try to pass it off as just some funny words. That don't cut it with me boys.

Edward, i agree with you 100%...I am a HUGE KC fan...but I'm also a realist.

This is going to be unpopular, but it needs to be done.
We need to trade Tony G and LJ now and get draft picks, lots and lots of draft picks and prospects. We have NO HOPE of getting to the show with the team we have now. Gotta blow it up and start over!
