Posted Wednesday August 06, 2008, About: Forsberg scores hat trick in Sweden
As an Avs fan I am sick of seeing the team going in the wrong direction. Take a look at all of the top teams in the NHL and they all have young, fast players who show massivie potential. While I hope that Sakic returns for one more year because he is such a class act and legend, Colorado made a major mistake in signing Foote to a 2 year contract and they need to let Forsberg go. Holding on to old players past their prime will do nothing in today's NHL. Signing Forsberg again would me a major mistake. I'd rather see Colorado save the money and throw it at a younger player in the next few years.

He goes to the same high school as highly touted WR Reuben Randle that's also looking at Michigan and scheduling a visit to AA. Could be an attempt to further influence Randle at looking into the wolverines.

Great player but a product of Urban's system. On the college level he's great but he'll be average at best in the NFL.

Good for Dantonio. Maybe he'll live up to all the hype he's been talkin about now.

Posted Tuesday June 17, 2008, About: No. 2 corner leaning to Michigan?
I believe the argument was:

If the NCAA had a playoff system, NO Big Ten school would make it to the Championship game.......

JFKJR is ready to PARTY!! | 06/17/08, 02:48 PM

I didn't say it was for the championship game, maybe you didn't read it correctly. The whole point was Michigan proved a sub-par big ten team last year could beat the defending national champs, one of the best teams in the SEC, and the team that had the Heisman trophy winner.

Everyone didn't think Michigan had a chance but they still won.

Who would have thought Appalachian St. would beat Michigan at the beginning of the year?

Get over yourself

JFK-

That's why Michigan destroyed Florida in their bowl game last year... right?

trailer park trash? bandwagon fans?

Isn't OSU notorious for being a bunch of hicks and red necks? They take pride in it and everyone knows it. Every school including Michigan has those types of fans.

And as far as bandwagon fans, every school has them, even OSU.

Quit acting like your school's fan base is completely different from everyone else's.

Posted Tuesday December 11, 2007, About: Miles still talking to Michigan
Like everyone else I find all of these stories surrounding Les Miles extremely annoying.
As a Michigan fan I'd really just like to have some closure with the issue and see the football program move on. However, It really would not surprise me if Les Miles ends up going to Michigan. Do I think he really will? Absolutely not but looking at the entire situation it would be easy to see Les Miles ending up at Michigan. People have second feelings about decisions they make and may have regrets. It's called human nature. Les Miles could very easily have been caught up in the moment of winning an SEC championship and going to the National Championship thus signing a contract with LSU. In the long run, however, I think it wouldn't be that hard to believe that Les Miles is second guessing his decision about not returning to his alma mater.

Like I said, I don't see it happening but It wouldn't be that hard to believe if it does.
Posted Wednesday December 05, 2007, About: Did Carr put kibosh on Miles?
plain and simple. Miles wanted to go to Michigan only Michigan played the same conservative pathetic card they always do.
All of this reminds me of Urban Meyer before he went to Florida from Utah. Notre Dame wasn't willing to pay him the big bucks and Florida came in and gave it to him even though Notre Dame was one of the schools in Urban's contract to go to (Just like Michi was with Miles). Urban took the Florida job and ND ended up shelling out the big bucks for the pathetic coach they now have instead of getting Urban who is still the hottest coach in college football.
If Michi was really the dream job for Miles he'd be here right now. Just shows you that money came into the picture and that was more important to Miles.
End of story
look for Michi to get a pathetic coach in the mean time and further ruin their chances down the lines.

he'll be in an AVS jersey next year if he's playing in the NHL
Posted Thursday August 02, 2007, About: Hart has no respect for Harbaugh
I completely agree with Hart 100% Harbaugh is just jealous and mad that his former school doesn't want him and he is forced to take a coaching position at a second rate Pac 10 school overshadowed by USC and Cal.
Posted Sunday July 29, 2007, About: Forsberg headed to the Red Wings?
Forsberg will be in Denver next year if he's in the NHL at all in the first place.
Posted Wednesday June 06, 2007, About: Forsberg to return to Avalanche?
As an Avs fan I would much rather see Colorado go after Drury rather than Forsberg. Drury has equally as much leadership as Forsberg and he doesn't have as many problems with injury. With Sakic's career ending in the next few years, I believe Drury is the guy Colorado would want to bring in to continue the type of leadership they need with the younger players. I would also love to see Forsberg end his career in an Avalanche sweater but there is more to take into consideration then just next season and a Sakic/Forsberg reunion.
