Bianchi should have been the coach, they should have given him total control and left all the decisions up to him. I dont like Maradonna as coach BUT Bliardo will be making the tough calls and real decisions and it is great to see Batigol and Goycochea working with the selection team again. Bilardo is a great futbol mind and he will be the key to all this Diego is just there for face and moral support. In Argentina what he says goes, the players adore him so as long as Bilardo is calling the shots i could care less if diego is relaying the message. They mainly got diego to relate to these superstar players being that they are all primadonnas and dont listen to anybody, diego is tha gawd so they will listen.

Pablo Migliore from Boca Jrs is available. The kid is young and talented but he had a bad game in the last copa libertadores and since then fell out of favor with the fans and team officials. They are looking to move Migliore and the MLS would be a perfect fit for both the player and league. DC has been scouting Argentina hard and they have alot of connects down there.

Boca bought him out from Villareal. Boca is struggling and he is the club's biggest most admired star. He's bigger that Diego Maradona at the club because of all he's won for us. I could see it happening because the media over in Arg kill him and he can't live a comftoable life over there. he is exactly what the redulls need. In a perfect world it would be an even swap of Jozy for Riquelme. It would only take Jozy Altidore 1 year in Argentina b4 a big european club sweeps him up.

WOW, I read that this morning in the Argentine paper and I couldn't beleive it. San Lorenzo one of the Big teams of Argentina and South America want him bad. The coach Ramon Diaz used to coach him at river Plate. He stood them up for the MLS? that is big news. I hope he comes to the Red Bulls.

good, this makes me happy. now play Mcnabb this year but also give Kolb a couple of quarters to run the offens in case Mcnabb goes out injured next year. Injuries happend to every team and it's the job of the TEAM to have a well put plan B in case of them. Kolb is not ready to start. too much pressure on him to replace the franchises best qb in history. Bring Kolb along like the cowgirls did with ****.

Can you imagine a Boca Juniors MLS team in Miami? with all the Argentinos/South Americans how can it not work. Plus you know boca would send all their young guys to show and prove what they got. Palermo said he would play as did Scheloto and maybe Maradona at coach. You are talking sellouts everyweek. Boca already showed interest in an MLS team.

****. the peruvian players were just under imense pressure from the Argentine home crowd. the crowd followed that team everywhere, threatend them outside the hotel non stop and wouldn't let them sleep. The peruvian players were shook and lets not forget Argentina had a killer squad. Diego was a star and he didn't even make the team plus we beat a great Dutch team in the finals. We had the home crowd with a military pressence that added to the hysteria and a awesome team. We were coached by Mennotti (one of the greatest futbol minds of our era) and look at the squad:Larosa/Ardiles/Passarella/Lavolpe/KEMPES/Bertoni/Galvan etc...
