Georges quit fighting in edmonton our talanted guys were being bounced around and he didn't stick up for them enough,
I think instigator rule aside georges just doesn't have the mean streak to be the best enforcer out there certainly tough enough but just lacks the killer instinct.

I'd take boogard over laraque anyday. maybe even mcgratten.

Worst trade ever in the nhl was Yashin for Chara and a first round pick which ended up being Jason Spezza.... ouch. Also gave him a ten year deal worth almost $90 million dollars.

The Big Bucks have already been paid to Mccabe the first years were big money and he's only making $4 million and change after this season which is pretty good value for him relative to the league. one more big money year and it's gonna be a good deal for the leafs !

Toronto has to use him properly though, don't have him killing every penalty like they do as it is not his strong suit use him where he excels ( 5 on 5and next to kaberle on the pp )
