Blows my mind that a team can have so much talent at LB that Suggs and Scott could be considered trade-bait. I'm not a Ravens fan, but from what I've seen those two are monsters. Of course, going on TV and saying stupid things isn't very impressive, but that's a pair of great pass rushers, Ed Reed Fan.

I doubt Cowher's headed for big D. I do agree though that Phillips has done a poor job translating all that talent into a the Super-Bowl-worthy team they should be. Honestly, with that many stars on the roster they should be a powerhouse with or without Romo.

Color me unimpressed with this story. He had a conversation with Millen, then admitted it to a reporter. Typical Favre, admitting to something publicly that could be misconstrued in a big way. What I find much more interesting is the fact that Favre's actually given me a reason to root for a team from New York.

Never thought it was possible...

When I was a teenager I worked in a meat packing plant. I don't need to do research, I've seen it with my own eyes.

Cruelty is about intent. When a wolf tears a living rabbit apart, it isn't about cruelty. When a human slaughters an animal for food, that isn't about cruelty either.

The real hypocrite in this case is the person blindly defending Vick's actions because they like him as a person. If you say ignorance is bliss, WDB, I'll take your word for it, you seem to be in a position of authority on THAT issue.

Man, it's depressing sometimes to think about how much less money I make than people like Canseco (who I have no respect for).

It's not like the MLB can just erase history. The only real choice now is to fix the problem presently and move on. Hopefully the days of annual 60+ home run years are past us. I'm sick of the game I grew up loving turning slowly into a punchline.

I've spent too much of my life already arguing in Vick threads. I really need to stop doing it. It's just that whenever someone brings up that "eating meat is the same thing" argument my faith in humanity dips to the point where I can't keep my mouth shut.

Seriously, that argument holds about as much water as the Flat Earth Society's webpage.

I would give McGwire a HOF nod myself. The guy used PEDs, yes, but they weren't against the rules, and they weren't against the law, either.

This is a competitive sport, what sense is there in punishing someone after the fact for something that was allowed at the time?

As for everyone else.... for shame. Here's to hoping the MLB sucks it up and starts acting like an organization that cares about itself.
